I had a look to see if anyone else had posted about this but couldn't see it.

Take That (Gary, Howard and Jason) are touring the Circus Tour in 2026. With 2 dates at the CBS. Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June.

First stadium concert in a while and the first with us as the owners/profiting from it. Great news! Keep it up Bling!

P.S. Get Oasis back

Literally 2 mins after posting, I notice another poster has done it! Just merge this one in Nick! Cheers

100% in the stadium bowl. It was last time and it was huge. Its a stadium tour so can't see it being in the exhibition halls.

Take that have some great songs let's be honest
I am being totally honest here and don't really wish to diss the band too much, though I really dislike them, but I thought it was only young and teen girls that liked them when they first set out and am still surprised to this day that grown men like them.

Each and every to their own though. If it floats your boat, then fine. I just don't like anything they have done.

I was a teen when they were big. I was no massive fan of anything like that but can't deny they had some really good songs. They were the best boy band before the copycats started etc

Regardless of whether you like certain bands/groups or not, these events are great for the football club financially

Yeah, agree. Been lots of artists come to the CBS that I haven't liked at all, but it's good for the club, so that's excellent news.

Bring more crap here!! 👍🏻😎😁

This is it. Just because i dont like Black Sabbath, it didn't mean they didn't sell out Villa Park.

Much the same as for 2 nights at the CBS, Take That will sell out, whether people on here are fans or not! And that revenue is great for the club. Its been a looooong time since we've had a stadium show in the bowl. The fact that bling has managed to sort this out within weeks of buying is great and long may it continue.

If only we went through with that retractable pitch and roof! One of my biggest concerns with concerts in the bowl is the damage to the pitch. But then that's because how many times we've had our fingers burnt in the past. The gaming expo that left tramlines up the pitch. The w**ps leaving it in shit state purposefully. The rugby 7s and the points deduction that followed it. There's no reason we can't have 2 or 3 events every summer. But it needs managing properly.

Other clubs seem to manage it so now we are in control of when the stadium is used and looking after the pitch it should be fine.

I put down the previous fuck ups to Wasps not giving a shit. Arctic Monkeys was I think under Frasers and did no damage?

Question:
Does knocking grounds off the 92 only count if youre there to watch football? Ive already done 67 of the current 92 + 6 that are now National League. But ive never done the Etihad but have got tickets for Mrs DT-R for Xmas. So will visit next June. Can I tick it off my list? Or do I have to wait till next season when we play them in the PL
