So the project is over with more success than anyone anticipated and we move on to the next project - premier alignment - we can't think about survival, it's about transitioning from a major force in the championship to now being a premier player.

The closeness and unity of the club from top to bottom is evident and although it is an emotional time DK will have to sit down and assess the strategy.

Firstly, do we keep FL, do we offer a long term deal or do we wait and see where we are come Christmas? Whatever happens the club is in the premier. Getting FL to sign now would be crazy as we saw two years ago when we missed out. Most of the current squad was here or arrived during the summer but under MR we didn't get off to a great start and he was fired. Nothing is there in place to suggest that couldn't happen again and FL is a memory come Christmas.

Even for FL his stock is now overloaded and if he walked away he could walk into most jobs out there. However, at Coventry he now has squad who if added to could do some damage. They are 'mates' with him and his team and 'if' City were to sustain some momentum for a few years he would walk into the England job. If he left he would be starting again with a squad he doesn't know and a dressingroom full of differing characters.

For DK, he is here now and I can't seeing him wishing to cash in on this current project, although his main task is complete, unity and potential. We are massive with a catchment area far exceeding the 250,000 who turned out yesterday. Coventry are the only club in Warwickshire as well as being part of the West Midlands, and as DK alluded to yesterday - 'we are f$%k£ng massive'. Of course he is an entrepreneur and sees a hundred and one ways to make money from the casino, hotel, Ryton, the CBS, it's a case does he want to take another risk and increase the potential 'on' the pitch.

He has been luck because he brought in FL and I don't know if there was another manager in the lower leagues who can produce a team/squad so together and perform way above their level(s). If, FL left does he have another gem waiting in the wings? I thinkl even he said in an interview I watched recently that in business 'luck' comes into it, and thus far he has been lucky. I know he thinks the world of DA because he is a master scout who can bring DK potential players and through FL turn them into world beaters.

I do respect DK because he does seem to be a person who listens. He dislikes loanees but for this season, just ended, he was advised to bring in loanees and they were effective. Now people have to convince him that we need players who are older and have no re-sale value, possibly 4 or 5 players are needed who fall into that role.

I am sure the whole club will be resting for a few days but DK will be accessing and drawing up his next plan. We as fans have our part to play and not only by supporting our team. We also have the ride the wave that is sweeping across our city and wider area and build on it. There is no greater motivatition than what lies ahead of us. Our fair city has greatly changed since we were last in the top league. We had a car industry and many of the supporters were blue collared workers. Now we are city on the rise, trying to forge a new identity, but with have two well established universities in our city and now the football club now is the time to see our own futures and face our own challenges. Maybe it's time for us all to have our own projects, for ourselves and our city.
