I was in two minds as I like an away game in London, but usually means time off work if midweek. Then when we drew them in the cup and the tickets were so cheap it was a no brainer to go to that one instead. Not completely decided yet, but will probably end up watching this on the dodgy stick!I did the Cup, can't face that London driving again so soon, so I'm not going to this one.
Are there any coaches? I could go but I wouldn't want to drive.
Annoyed I couldnt get one for the cup.
Chronically annoyed that its a closed shop & think that club should ballot a % of away tickets
Really pleased it made general sale and snapped up some tickets on Friday afternoon!
TSx
That’s it’s, and then it’s purely down to someone moaning because the system doesn’t suit them - I.e can’t get a Leicester ticket. This game has duly shown it isn't a closed shop.
Similarly with Sheffield Wednesday.
4/5 games a season are a closed shop but the rest are not.
It's no different at any of the big clubs. Granted, not a "big club" anymore and no European football, but i know a Utd fan. She's a season ticket holder. To keep her points up and guarantee big games, she has to buy a ticket for every EFL, FA Cup, and early stages Europa League (non relevant anymore). That’s it’s, and then it’s purely down to someone moaning because the system doesn’t suit them - I.e can’t get a Leicester ticket.
it’s a pretty decent system to be fair. Perfect no, but pretty good.
I think the sales for this game and the Millwall cup game show that while it’s not a closed shop, there is occasionally a problem with people buying cheap tickets just for the points. This game has duly shown it isn't a closed shop.
Yes for the cup but not for this. I’m not sure people are paying £34 for 20 points with no intention of going… just so they have a better chance of going to a different away game.I think the sales for this game and the Millwall cup game show that while it’s not a closed shop, there is occasionally a problem with people buying cheap tickets just for the points.
It isn’t entirely fair that people with no intention of going will hoover up tickets to boost their points tally at the expense of people who genuinely want to build up their points and will actually show up to the game to do so.
How often has it happened that you can recall ?I think the sales for this game and the Millwall cup game show that while it’s not a closed shop, there is occasionally a problem with people buying cheap tickets just for the points.

Well it’s why I said “occasionally”How often has it happened that you can recall ?
Once ? Twice ? Ever
The turnout at millwall was still tremendous and id wager that not too many more would have genuinely purchased tickets
Did anyone do Millwall away in the cup and get the train back from Euston after? There is a last train at 23:30 to Cov. Weighing it up going next week.
Just a heads up - the train finishes at Rugby and it's a bus back to CovDid anyone do Millwall away in the cup and get the train back from Euston after? There is a last train at 23:30 to Cov. Weighing it up going next week.
You'll comfortably make that. In fact, you would make a train before 11 if there is one.
Stanmore is a bit of a trek all the way down the Jubilee line - So as long as you don’t mind sitting on the tube for 45 mins it is an optionSorry to bring it back to travel. It’s my first time to millwall. Has anyone ever parked and tubed and if so is Stanmore the best option?
Got images of you doing squats and lunges down the carriages now!I’m training from Cov to Euston, easily make the 11pm train
Mine arrived next day after ordering (sorry to be the bearer of potentially bad news for you)My ticket for this still hasn’t arrived, anyone else still waiting? I have received the one for Sheffield Wednesday
Probably not the best idea. Parking at Stanmore midweek isn't easy and then it will take you an hour to get the tube and overground train to Millwall.Sorry to bring it back to travel. It’s my first time to millwall. Has anyone ever parked and tubed and if so is Stanmore the best option?
