To be fair can’t other players than the ones mentioned also play on the wings. Looking at KKH, MVE, Wright, BTA?
I like specialised wingers playing there personally. Not strikers and defenders.

You move Wright to the wings though, then you're left with Simms up top. Shit creek, paddle, you know the story

So if we confirm Wolfenden, we'll have the following so far this window:

Confirmed In:
Kaine Kesler Hayden - £4m
Miguel Angel Brau - Free
Carl Rushworth - Loan
Luke Woolfenden - £4m (apparently)
CBS Arena - £40m (??)

Confirmed Out:
Luis Binks - £2.5m
Brad Collins - Loan
Fabio Tavares - Free
Ben Sheaf - £6.5m
Norman Bassette - Loan

Have I missed anyone?

If it stays like that and we keep MVW, Haji etc, I'll class that as a decent window and would expect money to spend in January. Could do with another wide player.

Tavares isn’t out on loan. He was released in the summer.

Clearly funds are not an issue if we’re putting in bids of £10m+ for players so to leave us shorter than we were at the start of pre-season with some really underwhelming squad players is a little bit bemusing.

Sheaf's gone to fund Wolfenden. The Binks / rest of Sheaf money pays for KKH. It seems pretty neutral to me.

Probably/possibly MVE had been expected to raise big money, which would have created more possibilities in the window.

Sheaf confirmed 3 years + 1 year option as I'm typing. Now Wolfenden can sign...

Back to Bassette it seems we have a recall option in Jan. I thought there might be hidden detail in that, clearly that might trump the option to buy.

Well if you want a winger, you could look at Nathan Redmond or Ox Chamberlain. Ben Mee as a fourth choice CB? Striker wise, could Bamford be worth a punt?
Bamford was on 70K a week at Leeds. In the last 4 years played 87 League games out of a possible 168 games and scored 14 goals. Simms looks a far better option on those stats.
