On the subject of politician football fans I walked behind Alastair Campbell when leaving the CBS after our game against Burnley last year.

Looks like he's been a Palace fan since...about 2 mins after they won the FA cup.
A true superfan
If you say ‘My dad was a toolmaker, my mum was a nurse’ 3 times, Starmer appears in a Gyökeres Arsenal shirtAlso an obvious genuine fan but I await BSB and Grendels judgement. No doubt he’s pretending to support Burnely because of Iraq.

If they get elected it isn’t me you should be blaming. Government net approval of -50 is fucking horrific.I hear when the fascists take power they’re extra nice to those who helped them online.

Starmer planned to steal my wife’s PIP and my MP ignores our correspondence. Tell me why either deserve my vote? You realise you’re part of that right?
I will be blaming you and any other self proclaimed leftist who joined right wing nonsense attacks from day one and haven’t stopped. The purpose of a system is what it does. And you are anti left.
HahahahaFarage apparently likes football and is a Crystal Palace fan

Other companies are also included, Brexit bounce, still this shortfall seems to amount to a scarily similar number to lost trade,a war with Russia that the same bloke who got Brexit done seemed to want to wage, don't get me started.Just as well that Reeves isn’t in charge of Tesco

UK inflation: Air fares and food prices push rate up to 3.8% in July - BBC News
Prices are now rising slightly quicker than expected and at their fastest pace since January 2024.www.bbc.co.uk
The cost of food shopping has become a bit ridiculous for most things except vegetables. Certainly going out to eat just isn’t worth it without an offer/voucher.Other companies are also included, Brexit bounce, still this shortfall seems to amount to a scarily similar number to lost trade,a war with Russia that the same bloke who got Brexit done seemed to want to wage, don't get me started.

We do most of our shopping at Aldi now, pretty much the only place that offers decent stuff at a fair-ish price.I've found myself eating a lot less meat recently, not because I am going vegan but I look at a pack of chicken breasts for 6 quid and think fuck that.

£30 each is too steep I think. We aim for £20 each which wasn’t difficult to find until probably the last few years, at least without a deal on.Is eating out that bad compared to years ago? You can still get a decent 2 course meal for £30 each person in a good establishment which I am sure is similar to a few years ago.

One or two places in ‘leafy’ Leamington we like can still do that.
We used to live near the Toby carvery next to Binley mega chippy. Unbeatable value tbfWell yeah if you're going in Leamington it's going to be more.
Nowt wrong with a Hungry Horse offer.
Decent big carvery in the Old Crown for about £14

Two thirds of the country, including me, are clowns for disapproving of the government’s job?I have no idea who your MP is. But I’m sure the Reform guys will be big on welfare spend and constituency business.
“Something might have happened and didn’t so I’m working hard to get in the people who want to do even worse” absolutely clown politics.

Reform UK manifesto suggests huge cuts, threats to disability rights, and risks to safety of benefit claimants

You rate a PM doing a bad job but not an owner or manager doing a good one. That’s all there was to it.No. As someone political and claiming to be left wing despite all evidence advocating against the only left wing option for government is clown politics.
Spending your time making things up about said government is just pathetic. You are actively working towards electing a Reform government. Because you’re a child and since the man you loved lost you’ve done nothing in the political threads but play pound shop Grendel and pretend to have some moral high ground because you think Kier Starmer can stop a genocide in Gaza.
Edit: And as you’re now carrying your psychosis over to the football side I’ll address that here to. Yes I’m a Labour supporter. Because I’m left wing. I want good things for the vulnerable and poor and a functioning economy. And Labour are the only vehicle for that for a host of systemic reasons.

Do enjoy a good deal tbf and will keep that in mind. Just struck me how expensive it was to have a bowl of soup in some places, £8 is the going rate in 'leafy' Leamington.Getting this thread back on topic after the latest outburst from @shmmeee.
Sizzler pubs do 2 mains for £12 Monday to Friday. Limited menu but a cheap meal out and you can have a meal and a couple of pints each for less than £30 for the pair of you. Bargain!
