Amazed how backwards Arsenal have gone as an attacking force, Sam Alledyce would have been proud of that

It’s a great result for Arsenal. Quickly silenced old Trafford and defended well without any clear chances for United.

People who thought they could go there and play attacking are on another planet

Man Utd deployed Maguire as a striker when he came on - pretty desperate

I actually enjoyed watching the Man Utd vs Arsenal game yesterday...got to say that Man Utd look a lot better than recent seasons.
A funny team who seem to get themselves up for the ‘big’ games but really struggle in more ‘bread and butter’ games. Very inconsistent

Don't think they'll do brilliantly this season, but last year was probably an outlier and I can't (unfortunately) see them finishing that low again for a while

They'll be back challenging for European places (not the CL ones) and they'll be happy with that.

Burnley Brentford Wolves to drop for me
Really wouldn't rule WHU out of a scrap

The quality of Bowen and Paqueta (if not banned) should see them have enough but they have looked rank rotten since Moyes left last year

A club that suffers from an identity crisis, bigger than most but not anywhere near enough to challenge the Top 6 - They hounded Moyes out but I really struggle to see how any West Ham fan had them as above several top half finishes, The Conference League trophy and a few long runs in the Europa on top of that

Didn't shine down on them in the end.
I think they will struggle to stay up this season myself.
They've been gutted, they really did cause Man City problems before Haaland scored just by being busy.

That said Man City could just be rusty having not really had a pre-season

It was more looking at their transfer business really, signings not really to the value of prem teams, I hope they buck the trend though.

Looking at the new Everton stadium now. Looks great.

Yeah, my brother in law is a Toffee and I'm hoping I can sneak a ticket at some point. Location, architecture, layout (steep, loads of standing etc.) is all decent.

Just went in the club shop - can see it from my hotel

Watched 2 and a bit games in the last couple of days and struggling to recall enjoying any of it

The day out getting promoted would be epic, the money would change the club forever - But I am so not arsed about being in the Premier League - the most overrated league in the world

Then your essentially saying he should have just waved it into the net?
Unless there was another part of his anatomy he could have got in the way?

Arm tucked in or not, he moved it towards the ball.
If he'd been stationery and it hit him there it wouldn't have been a pen.

It`s sewn up before a ball is kicked.

City can spend what they want.
Chelsea can spend what they want.
Liverpool can spend what they want.
Man U can spend what they want.
Arsenal can spend what they want.

The whole league is fixed to keep everyone else in their place and keep the tv money rolling in.

Look at Newcastle, theoretically richest team on the planet, who have been nobbled by PSR, Villa to an extent too.

The whole league is rotten to the core.
