Not sure if I'm missing something here but I've had it for ages!
But anyway, thanks, 2 legends.
Well I’ve only just noticed. Not unusual, it’s like people’s comments, I react to their latest post. I can’t keep track of people’s posting history or opinions. I know I have had spats with people, can’t remember who and what over 😂 certainly no vendettas.

Cyril was a superb centre forward, even if not a prolific goal scorer, his link up play was superb. But he always seemed to get important goals and spectacular goals. One of my all time favourites.

Snoz was a father figure, who believed the game should be enjoyed. I remember him saying, I got into coaching because I had to listen to coaches, I had to learn the game because it didn’t come naturally to me.

2 legends but more importantly just 2 special people.

Cyrille had what I refer to as soft feet.
A big, powerful man, but he had a deft touch and superb control in his locker but could unleash his raw power when required.
Sillett brought out the best in him, but I still remember him most fondly for his performance in one of my favourite ever city games, city 4- Everton 1, last game of the season, 1985.

Every thing stuck to Cyril. He could be involved two or three times in a build up. He was superb on the edge of the penalty area with his back to goal and he could just lay it off or deliver a round the corner pass and play someone in. He had explosive power, but played in short bursts.
Sillet recognised that and knew you couldn’t just lump it over the top and expect him to chase it all day long.

I met up with SBT member @pipkin73 earlier. He's still alive and well out here in Gran Canaria, he just doesn't post so much due to getting headaches when he's using the computer. He's doing well apart from that and we both enjoyed a few pints of Estrella and the five goals, PUSB.
Tell him to stay well clear of the Summer bed wetting thread, sorry…transfer thread.

Just a thought, can he get glasses to help with that?

How else are they going to drink the Estrella?...

(Sorry Wingy ☺️)

Good to hear pipkin is doing ok. I remember he was pretty down during COVID times due to the lack of tourists, so thanks for that update 👍

When you see a thread that looks ominously like someone has died so you open it, find out they are not dead and are pleased to hear that despite giving the possibility that they might be dead no thought at all before seeing the thread.

It's annoying though when I keep seeing a thread about Trump.

That's probably down to wishful thinking though.
