I’d be very surprised if Rudoni goes but if they do make a move and give you £20-25m then talks will begin.

Can we do enough damage in a month with £25m?

It’s possible if Austin has things lined up. Would say to be worth it we’d need to bring in 3-4 first team players (CM, RW, AM, CB) and a couple of backups at AM and RB, maybe a striker. A lot to do in a few weeks.

Anything £25m or above, the club will have no choice but to begin talks!

We would have a plan but can it all be done in 4 weeks?

But MVE and Rudoni go and that’s a £30-35m pot for Lampard!

At the end of the day players and agents dictate if they’re off…

Although Rudoni is playing for his idol and I think will be here for 1 more season.

If both are sold it will be for about the amount we got for both Hamer and Gyokeres. We already have a very good side from this money so it would be more reinforcements to add to it.

It wouldn't be good news for this season but we would have a chance of doing what Leeds did last season in another year. Still think Rudoni will stay another season with us but what is an absolute fortune for us is just an average player for the likes of Newcastle. He isn't ready for the Prem and a side like Newcastle yet so maybe a sale and loan back. Best of both worlds. Get in the players we need now and have a year to find his replacement.

I’m certainly not worried if he did go though. It’s the model and the next batch of talent comes through to the building blocks in place.

£30m to spend and 1 month to do it sounds like a load of under scouted and overpaid for players

You would hope/expect that we’d have targets lined up for this scenario. It would be a bit of a scramble, but there are worse things to happen in your average season then getting a transformative amount of money to spend with several weeks of the transfer window left.
We didn't manage Hamer's departure well and he still hasn't effectively been replaced. I think on balance we'd be better off holding Rudoni for another season.

If the club stick to the model then it was Milan, Wright or Rudoni that would of gone. Selling Binks with Milan does free up wages and hopefully puts some money into the club.

I expect a few more out this week on loan or perms to free up some more space and wriggle room for FL. Who comes in will be names out the blue or younger players we will try to develop. Andrews and Perry i imagine will be kept around the 1st team. And if Norm goes then i can see Obikwu staying until we find a replacement.

But who knows the club are not as open and it does create so much frustration and allows rumors to spiral out of control.

Rudoni link is true.

Might suggest why he didn't appear in the last friendly.

You question if he appears at the weekend. How advanced is this considering they've shown interest over the past few months?

I'm still in the camp he stays but a good first half to the season, could someone snap him up in the winter window?
