Jesus, definitely not CM and I don’t care if he plays there for Jamaica! You've forgotten Lats![]()
I like Lats , he's a competitor and always gives his all he just lacks the little bit to be a good championship centre backJesus, definitely not CM and I don’t care if he plays there for Jamaica!
I’d because happy to see us move on Lati to be honest. You could be a good CB in a back 3 but he has me on edge when we play him RB or CB when we play a back 4.
He can’t play CM and AM simultaneously… Frankly, this window we ought to have a player who can comfortably play AM In the event Rudi gets injured. And Rudi

A far too influential player to not have a ‘Plan B’ for.

He's a box to box midfielder, more of a Lampard typeIf we’re spending this kind of money on another defensively-minded CM then it would make most sense for Sheaf to go.
He’s more of an 8 based on what I’ve readIf we’re spending this kind of money on another defensively-minded CM then it would make most sense for Sheaf to go.
Andrews looked ok yesterday, I would retain himId keep Lats for another season, is ok for the odd game and being on the bench. Covers 3 positions potentially. I reckon those we could see leave would include. Allen, Eccles, Banks, Bidwell and BTA - that's a fair few quid saved in wages and I imagine £4- 5 million in fees (basically Eccles and BTA). We "might" get some minimal cash for Bidwell and Allen but I would expect that to be very minimal at most.. Andrews needs to go on Loan I would say, along with Perry and Obikwu
All so easy on paper and being a keyboard warrior of courseId keep Lats for another season, is ok for the odd game and being on the bench. Covers 3 positions potentially. He's going to fit in well with our forward linea number 8 who doesnt score goals
Rather keep SheafMorsy leaving Ipswich for the middle east, they come in for Sheaf and this lad is his replacement ?
we’ve seen the best of sheaf, he‘ll be one of those players that could of been, can’t afford players who miss half a seasonRather keep Sheaf

If Sheaf stays fit he's one of the very best in the division. Wouldn't be in a hurry to sell him to one of our promotion rivalswe’ve seen the best of sheaf, he‘ll be one of those players that could of been, can’t afford players who miss half a season
Everything, everywhere, all at once. Obviously. There’s always such a clamour for some big signings
then straight away it’s ’sheaf or rudi must be leaving’
What do you want![]()
Yes totally counter productive if we want to be taken seriously this guy should be Allens upgradeIf Sheaf stays fit he's one of the very best in the division. Wouldn't be in a hurry to sell him to one of our promotion rivals
Torp is that player
Agreed.Yes totally counter productive if we want to be taken seriously this guy should be Allens upgrade
Didnt Torp play as a CAM against Sunderland?Disagree, Lampard has said in previous interviews that Torp can ‘do it all’ and prefers him to play deeper. Torp has made a handful of appearances as an AM and it hasn’t gone that well.
They’re v different players. Aside from both being creative in their passing, Rudoni is much more attacking with his crosses and dribbling. Torp is more of a traditional deep lying playmaker, decent defensively, likes to pass from deep and has a good shot on him. Put it this way: if Rudoni got injured, we’d be more likely to play 4-3-3 than 4-2-3-1.
Besides, it’s doubling up on cover again. Look at how we had to change formation because Wright and then EMC got injured and we ran out of wingers. It’s a good job Simms and BTA played through injuries in Jan-Mar because we’d have ran out of strikers to play 5-3-2 even.
What I have seen in mind is an AM who is a similar profile to Rudoni and can play across the forward line (RW/AM/LW) similar to Goodrham (not necessarily him) who we’ve been linked too previously.
Nope, that was a 4-3-3 and Torp’s passes for Wright’s goal we’re all from deep.Didnt Torp play as a CAM against Sunderland?
