Ipswich I agree with. We saw what their second string did to us. Southampton? Not so sure. Will Still? Add to this can't see Birmingham being better than us. We have a settled side with good players used to this level.

It's really difficult to say how Birmingham will do this season as while their recruitment has been gung-ho, it's somewhat random.

As I've mentioned previously I do suspect some of their signings won't deliver the return many expect. For instance, with Gray and Kyogo, it does seem like their best years are probably behind them. But we'll see.

Even if I'm wrong and the latest set of accounts aren't considered within the 3 year rolling period due to a ridiculous loophole their strategy is still very rogue and based on a lot of intangibles which aren't even achievable.

If they're unsuccessful in achieving promotion in the next couple of seasons their future will probably be of the highly uncertain variety.
Can't see them getting it this season coming. Ipswich did it with a settled side. By the sounds of it they will bring in more players. They won't have the time to gel to make the top 2.

They have their fair share of older players. Legs gone? More frequent injuries?

Add to this the fitness levels needed at this level. It's a massive difference to League 1.

I'm a big lad myself but I have a mate who is bigger than me and as camp as they come....and yes he is gay. But you wouldn't want to mess with him.
Yeah - can't play at that level without being physical, and aggressive, but not sure I've ever heard such a 'gentle' voice from a footballer. Just took me aback when I heard it ( doesn't bother me whether he might be gay or not, albeit I used the word camp)

A good number of their fans questioning whether the owners will spend substantially on transfers or whether they are there to asset strip. If they spend well then yes they should be challenging but if Hamer goes it levels things out a bit.
If Hamer goes it more than levels things up. Without more quality signings they would become quite average.

In all fairness to them bigger clubs are coming in for their key players, who will inevitably want to move onto pastures new and test themselves at a higher level, so they're probably not left with much choice.

Everton are also looking closely at Cooper, which would be another big loss for them.

What have I missed with this Kissedgarden fella?

Never fucking heard of him but it’s like
Norwich have signed Pele.
Somebody on here mentioned him in the winter I think. Said we should sign him as he was as good as Pele .... Or something like that (may have added the Pele bit in.)
