We had 2 shades of blue back in the 80s, so it's nothing new. Although these appear to be different shades and thicker stripes.

Teams like, Aston Villa, West Ham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Juventus, Barcelona and many others are very consistent in the colours used on main shirt. Which I like.

The variety and experimentation comes in the change strip.

Villa’s kit for the season just finished was a very different shade of claret than they’ve ever had before.

Liverpool’s shade of red changed completely during the New Balance era.
