What is going on in the video the screenshot is from? I'm going to guess it's one of those tiktok things I'll never understand even if explained to me very slowly

That's exactly what's going on. My lad sent me the link. 4 players on chairs doing some odd dance

Hard to tell what it'll look like from that, but the 2 shades of blue look a bit odd.
We had 2 shades of blue back in the 80s, so it's nothing new. Although these appear to be different shades and thicker stripes.

Looks possibly like we are going for wishy washy shite (if the orange and white away are to be believed) instead of the clean/sharp stuff we had last year.

Two shades of blue I don't have a problem with. But those two shades combined look far too wishy washy for my tastes. I hope that isn't the shirt, because if it is I won't be buying one. Although things can look different in real life.

It's just a concept from someone. The full tiktok video is posted further up.

Annoyed that I’ve had to click a tiktok link, but it’s just a concept

What is odd is it actually looks like three shades of blue. The sleeves seem different to the two shades of blue on the body. Also the trim around the neck is different to the trim on the sleeves. It looks a right hotchpotch of ideas.

Almost like a quiz question in a football magazine, where they give you a cut and paste picture of various teams football shirts. You have to go through and identify all the teams included in the picture.

I know this is a daft question but do we have a set brand colour for our sky blue? Seems to differ where all colours on this have probably featured once

There is no set brand colour for our Sky Blue. I have been supporting the club for about 58 years and we have used all sorts of shades of Sky Blue. Some borderline on not actually being Sky Blue.

Might be something for the club to consider for consistency. Hated a couple years back when we had sky blue shorts that there were a different colour to the shirt (think it was 22/23?)

The 87 cup final kit is probably closer to Sheffield Wednesday colours than anything. I like that we can vary both on colour and scheme though , I like QPR's traditional colours for example but they don't offer much in the way of variety

All the training gear looks like a half arsed effort from Hummel this season tbh

Saw a clip of the players the other day and the stick-on badge was already peeling on one of them
It’s always been like that with them. I got a training shirt and the badge came off within a week. The quality is shite.

I quite like that we can vary it a bit. The mismatch is a technical thing. One part printed, one part dyed(?), the tramline kit a few seasons ago had it with the sleeves being different to the body

In fairness I got a training top from the Covid season I use it for golf and playing football it's washed regularly and it has held out pretty well

I’ve got all the Hummel shirts since we went back to them.

the only issue with any of them I’ve had is the chevrons on last years 3rd kit sticking together after a wash and then tearing apart when I tried to sort it. It’s fucking ruined now.

I think if we were to move from Hummel, I’d like Umbro. Seem to make good quality kits and have interesting designs. Could start by remaking the sky blue striped home and yellow away

Agree with that.
After the two-tone shirt and how well it sold Dave Boddy tied us in to quite a long deal with them when he was here iirc, no idea how long is left on it though

Hopefully now we are a bit more of a desirable club to be partnered with again if we returned to one of the big names we would have unique kits designed for us as opposed to template ones like we got with Nike and Puma
