The clubs know at 9am and they are embargoed until midday for the public

There are a panel of people who see them a few days ahead to advise but it's a closed group. Majority of clubs won't know until 8.30am today.

Nope. As a few have mentioned, clubs get the emails from the EFL Football Operations team between 8am-9am.

Agents (if they've got a good relationship with the club) will have them now - as I do for a couple of clubs we work with. We use this time between 8am-midday to add dates into emails to hotels then click send on hundreds of emails to hotels at midday.
