The last time I logged onto Facebook my home screen was filled with posts from people and organisations I've never heard of before. It took me ages to right click and block them all. This was not the first time it's happened either.

"X" is like that for me these days. I don't know whether it's because anyone i was following has decided to leave or whether the changes in the "For You" vs "Following" tabs have been Musked about with so much that i just don't understand how to use the platform anymore, i can't say. Either way, it no longer takes up any of my time.

X and Facebook are both a fucking disaster now. Its not even random shit in with what you actually want to see. You increasingly can't see the stuff you actually want through the barrage of ads and random people the algorithm decides you want to see.

Seems like no matter how many times you hit 'not interested in this' on something it will just keep coming back again and again.

They have to be losing users.

Before anyone mentions it I'm already using a content filter which supposedly blocks unwanted content.
