How dare he. I fought in the Boer War so he could have Granny Smith apples from South Africa.
I have evaded tax all my life so I could spend it on booze and fags to keep the country going.
I have used a child's season ticket for years to ensure the team gets cheered on to greater things.
I take my own Bovril and meat paste batches to ensure the queues in the concourse are kept to a minimum
I hold in my effluents before, during and after the game to keep the water rates down at the CBS.
I have fathered 11 children (now have 53 grandchildren) to enusure there's enough workers to deliver Amazon orders (granted a few are receiving benefits as they like to sleep for 12 hours a day) and also to keep Labour in power.

Saving £20 on my ST makes life worth living and gets me an extra 3 pints of Guinness.

The typical OAP with spare funds can potentially help out the younger generation with their ticket costs. I know it happens in our family, but obviously can’t vouch for others.
Agreed. I’m not an OAP, but those guys who have been coming to see the City for such a long time absolutely deserve a discount.

When I couldn’t afford it I didn’t go to games.

I’m sure loads of people get subsidized through tickets being gifted / contributed to.

ROFL. Not. Explain.

I’m all posh now, was thinking about a Balcony Bar ST this year. How does that normally work? Are details released the same time as STs? Just worried about missing my ST window and then deciding Balcony Bar isn’t worth it/has got stupidly expensive.
What's the Balcony Bar like in general? My dad has had some health issues recently, so I have been considering it for the future.

I like it. Atmosphere can be a bit muted, food is pretty mid, but nice to have a bar before and at half time, get a program, hear from a player, etc. if it stays a similar price it’s worth it IMO. Useful because you can access via a lift so can get a decent view even if someone you’re with has mobility issues.

I considered some of the corporate offerings when my Dad was going downhill as I thought it would be easier for him but the fact you had to buy 4 tickets to get a car park pass put me off. Paying a lot more to allow someone with mobility issues to still attend then having to fork out for the car park as well seemed a bit much.

Yeah it’s annoying. We pay enough for parking as is, at least a small discount would be nice if we can’t get four people who want to go with.

Cheers, will give it a go at some point next season. I'll have to keep an eye out for someone starting arguments with strangers when I do.

I like it. Been in for the last couple of home games. Food is ok. You get 2 food vouchers but I've not been able to use both (actually got the kids some sweets with one last time I went). I'm probably going to do it a couple of times a season going forward at least.

One thing to note, it advertises POTM interview after the game. Not seen this happen either of the times I've been. You will see some faces you recognise at times though. A lot of the players seem to come up post game and Richard Keogh was in there for the Sunderland game (nice guy).

surely they had everything in place before the end of the season, why are they delaying the announcement?

just assumed they'd have things ready for either another season in the Championship or hiking the prices in the Prem. Have they waiting until now to start working out what to do?

Think I got a £20 discount for my season ticket in block 20 last year.
Still trying to make my mind up how to spend it.

And I'd love to know what they've sent my 60 years of paying income tax and national insurance on. 😱

POTM, is it because they do all the other lounges before they get to the Balcony Street Bar, the time's I've been in there an hour after the game has finished, still no POTM.

Evening I have told my source they are bloody useless, they have told me the delay is because of Ticketmaster and not the club... All prices are sorted and the club wanted sales to start tomorrow 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Yea that will be it, ticketmaster can get play off semi tickets on sale within 2 hours of the final whistle but will struggle to get things in place for season tickets 🙃🙃🙃🙃

Just own it bro 😂
