That's really good. Never knowingly heard that band before. Giving the album a listen now. Sounds like Eagulls liked them

The Chameleons were ace.

Script Of The Bridge is highly recommended.

Here we have a whole concert of Paul Rodgers celebrating Free music - his voice is just same from the 70s superb - he called it free spirit - it’s populated by most of their most popular songs - it’s from 2019 - I went to one of the gigs in this season - was like going back to school which I hated but I loved that music

Fuck me!

I'm a bit late to the party, but Squire, Brown, Mani and Reni, take a bow, for channeling this bit of genius.

How did it take me until now to hear this album? It's so f*cking good, ground zero for so much (Pixies etc.).

Punk-ish stuff from a few years back. Surf rock bits. Lyrics are good. Title track is 80s indie workship.

Just listening to Tom Grennan on the Bafta’s. Total industry plant, made for radio, PG, pop shite
That fake American growly thing that he does (see also: Lewis Capaldi) is unbelievably irritating. For people who think the Gillette jingle is what passes for emotional songwriting.

Somehow never listened to Branca despite Sonic Youth and GY!BE being massive for me, and this is insane.

Best of The Wurzels. Followed by The Wombles Greatest Hits.
Better than enduring the bloody Eurovision Shite Contest!

The best venue in Coventry by a mile very small Sound is great and loud , Drinks are cans and bottles no draft (pint Red Stripe £5.10) . 2 rooms one as you come in with the bar then through to the stage area . Seen so many great bands there over the years .

Really good venue. Played there loads back in the day and used to hire it for gigs we promoted. I think capacity in the live room is 150ish. Vibe in there is usually decent. It's in what were the coal vaults at the Canal Basin so two arches - bar and live room.
Which bands where you in mmttww ?

Think the Tin has recently received a grant for a bit of a refurb. Its strange it doesn't get promoted more in teh city, most people don't seem to know it exists.

For a city the size of Cov the number of gigs we get is shockingly bad, even now with the Empire, should really be shouting about what we do have.

Been listening to to Florence & the machine. Seen her live twice, and she is amazing.
