Refs been fucking us all season, and especially so since Lampard called them out. Fucked us again tonight, a couple of times Sunderland players should’ve been shown second yellows, allowed then to dive and fake injuries all night.

He will never buy a pint in Sunderland again. Fell for everything.

Not to blame, but he was utter tripe. It's not good enough.

Was shit again, not why we lost though.
No but like I’ve said before, if he follows the rules and sends one of their players off it’s a whole different game, we could’ve won. Been the same all season, for the amount of money riding on promotion something needs to be done

Not giving that yellow in the second half is one of the worst decisions I've seen from a referee in many years. You'd get sacked from any other job for a howler like that.

Really, really poor tonight. Not just him but the whole officiating team. Giving Grimes offside when he's as good 3-4 yards on & not even remotely close & a foul (or handball?) against Wright for literally nothing probably the 'highlights'.
Zero time added for time wasting or even the goals. We wonder why teams cheat but the answer is blatantly obvious.

We need to wise up and do it ourselves really. Lots of stuff Sunderland did over the two games which we'd never do.

The one that sticks in my mind is Patrick Roberts committing 2 fouls worthy of a yellow in the space of a few seconds. First was advantage, second was booked. Stronger ref (and I accept this doesn’t happen often) cards both and he’s off.

Now I’m at it, how has Hume not got a yellow?
100% & this was their gameplan all night, cynical fouls to stop our momentum.

The time wasting was a joke. It's like the ref didn't know there was a first leg played and Sunderland were actually winning the tie! The keeper was down for 3 minutes at 40 minutes and that's all he added on!
