Wright and Simms need an out of skin performance. It’s the least they can do now. Sakamoto needs to start being brave away from home.

Couldn’t care less personally. It shows that they don’t think the game is over and still see us as a threat to walk away winners. Hopefully the main beneficiary of that moral boost is Milan.

But the other part of me is thinking things like this should be agreed at the start of the season and then have to stay that way unless authorised by the league.

Could be as simple as next goal wins. If they score first we need 3 against a side that would park the bus. If we score and they've set up for defence it could end up being fun.

As long as we put in a performance tonight I'll be happy. Get to the final? Great. Fail? Very good second half of the season after a poor start. We're in safe hands. A few in and out. Lampard’s first pre season with us. Just imagine starting a season without trying to give everyone else a head start.

Not sure how I feel today, getting waves of anxiety and then waves of nothing. I'm sure a few beers later will help decide which side of the fence I'm on. For what it's worth i think it will go to extra time but can't decide who nicks it

Looking forward to this.

Only decision as I see it, is Simms up top and Haji left, or EMC in and Haji as front man?

Personally, I’d start the Simms/Wright combo

Lampard tactical masterclass incoming, hopefully…

The big players need to turn up and Lampard needs to get the tactics right.

That happens and we win. Wrong selection and half arsed performances and it’s a repeat of Friday.

Wright, Grimes, Simms, Sheaf all need big performances after recent poor ones. Sakamoto needs another game where he’s on it - which is a rarity away - and Rudoni just needs to continue to show his class.

We turn up on form and with the right strategy, we’ll win. We aren’t playing Real Madrid here, this team is entirely beatable.

To suggest all the manager has to do is get tactics right is a bit odd.

We are also entirely beatable having lost over 30% of our games this season

We also have Coco the Clown in goal and no tactics are legislating for that

He'll play EMC on left and Wright down the middle tonight i think. Other than that it'll be unchanged.
Let's see what happens, we'll know tonight whether we get another day out at Wembley or whether its time to start filling the forum with transfer rumours.
Wright needs to be on it, i'd say he's due a good performance.

Still feel the same as i did yesterday, head is still in a state of calm whatever attitude. Lets see just want us to put in a performance and if its not to be then happy to look to the summer of signings.

Got a feeling it’ll be a frustrating draw. I’m very ready for Lampards first window proper though so que sera sera.

Well if the boards have been moved and any unnecessary shoving goes on, then they’re simply being used as a weapon. The officials should be all over that.

like a few, fairly relaxed this morning.

We have every chance of beating them but depends which version of us turn up.

If we cant beat Sunderland by 2 goals over 120 minutes, we probably wouldn't stand much chance against Sheff U anyway.

Just leave it all out there

I’m pretty relaxed about later on. I just feel that we need to have another season of progression into a solid top 4 team. By that I mean cementing ourselves in the play-offs early in the season and having the quality to stay there.
I'm also calm. If we win amazing but if not I think I'll go straight into summer excitement mode rather than mourning as I am confident we will be top 6 again next season and perhaps make a jump to challenge for more.

It only takes 3-4 upgrades to completely take this team to the next level and lampard has the pull and king has backed us since she came in.

Futures bright. Futures sky blue.
