Its not, its just not sky blue tinted lenses like you have.

We've done well to get where we are, but there are negative sides too coming to fruitition.

We were warned by a Derby fan that a lot of Lampards game is hoping on a bit of magic from individuals to make the difference. Theres a clear pattern of that happening recently. When Rudoni isn't on it, we dont really look great attacking wise.
There's a case to be made that we should have matched their formation early on as we struggled to play our game as effectively as we'd like .

I think Simms and asante are neither good enough for where we want to be and its neither here or there who plays if it has to be between the 2

The idea that ellis makes us a better team always amuses me , a good striker scores 20 with the amount of balls we get into the box under frank

But what asante gives us is legs , I would probably have started eliis and got asante on against tired legs
I agree with this but Asante in my opinion brings very little Ellis for me is the better option as a central striker. WBA fans laughed their bollocks off when then they got the fee they sold him for .

What were the results like while he was out injured?

We need a whole new front line.
Wright is the only one up to standard and he doesn't seem interested.

Let's be honest Tuesday we should have a little rehaul,

Simms wright
EMC. Rudoni. Sakamoto
Da Silva MVE
Binks kitchin Thomas
Wilson

Maybe we could play grimes instead of binks but I want to see more attacking play from our wing backs, I want them higher up the pitch and I don't want to see counter attacks break us apart like tonight.

Did they? I dont remember that.
Maybe your memory isn't so good nowadays considering how you regularly forget to admit when you're wrong. Oh and additionally my sister and the five members of her immediate family are Baggies season ticket holders. But we all cannot of course know as much as you about fans we know nothing about as you can we ?

Holy shit I know their midfield was non existent but I think we’ve still got to field one.

Chin up lads, we're still in the tie in the second leg. Lots of possession with no real chances created, we were pretty poor.

Big decisions for Lampard to make on the front three as Haji was hopeless and the game really didn't suit BTA strengths

Where have I shown sky blue tinted glasses? I said we did ok. Shame about mistakes. ties not over.

Robins relied on McNulty magic in league 2 didn't he?

Gyokores 2 years ago?

Think people underestimate how hard it is to break down a team camped in their half

Leeds (head and shoulders best team in the league) only managed to beat Sunderland 2-1 at home thanks to a 95th min winner when they sat in a low block

The Milan mistake obviously makes it a shit

What has Robins got to do with this?

Any criticisms directed towards Lampard, no matter how tiny your response is always "yeah but Robins"

I'm fuming here it's nearly midnight and I just can't get that shit out my head so I can sleep.

Too much passive passing and no killer instinct pretty much story if the season, fingers crossed we actually get at them with some determination Tuesday but I can just see more if the same of tonight to be honest.

LA LA LALA LA LA LA LA LA LA LALA

I think FL picked the team based on how we ended the Boro match. But one thing he has not been able to figure out all season long is how to unlock teams playing the low block. That is his and the team's downfall. No incisive passing at all. Too many sideways and backward passing. Also I think the team was complacent and expected to win just by showing up. Wright hardly resembled the hattrick hero and BTA was piss-poor. They played their game plan well and counter attacked effectively and got their rewards. They'll be hard to break at their home and will resort to a similar tactic in the second leg. Now that we are going to be chasing them for the equalising goal, it'll be easier for them to counter attack and their crowd will spur them on.
I hope they do try and sit on their lead. First goal on Tuesday likely to be key imo. Unless Simms was carrying a knock, I was a bit surprised he didn't come on for BTA. Still in it, and far from Bristol City's situation.
