Probably one of the worst ref performances recently and that's saying something.

Gave them an extra 40 seconds at the end when they were time wasting much the whole second half.

Sakamoto fouled professionally by both O'Nien and Siskin multiple times (latter really should have been sent off a few times during that match).

Rudoni in one of the free kicks was being handled by the neck and nothing was given.

Sure there are some other decisions but these were the ones that stood out the most really.
The ref was all right overall, I thought.

We haven't got a useful striker, that is the main problem.

Wright is neither a winger or striker and needs space to run into to be effective. His performances are almost as inconsistent as his first touch. BTA is similar, but without the height advantage, certainly not a lone striker. Simms doesn't use his frame nearly well enough, seems to lack the natural confidence you want in a striker, and his purple patches don't come around nearly often enough.

Spot on - we have no decent striker and it’s cost us

I don’t want to hear criticism of Rudoni in any shape or form, him and Grimes and a handful of others have carried some bang average players for a while now. Disaster for MVE but he’s still a good player and fair play to DaSilva too.
Simms, BTA, Bidwell, Latibeaudiere, Collins etc ….See you laters !
Bizarrely we are still only a 2-0 win away from Wembley though. An early goal and Sunderland will shit themselves.

One bad decision too many. Countless times players made the wrong decision with the ball and the clown O9 didn’t have to break sweat in that defence.

Yet again it’s a fucking farce of a goal to give away the result. I didn’t expect them to turn their playing style on its head in a matter of days, we have to do the same.

Don’t see it happening to be honest. Hopefully Sheff Utd beat them in the final and we have one less parachute team next season.

I think FL picked the team based on how we ended the Boro match. But one thing he has not been able to figure out all season long is how to unlock teams playing the low block. That is his and the team's downfall. No incisive passing at all. Too many sideways and backward passing. Also I think the team was complacent and expected to win just by showing up. Wright hardly resembled the hattrick hero and BTA was piss-poor. They played their game plan well and counter attacked effectively and got their rewards. They'll be hard to break at their home and will resort to a similar tactic in the second leg. Now that we are going to be chasing them for the equalising goal, it'll be easier for them to counter attack and their crowd will spur them on.

Yep, every time we play a team that sits back in a block and is happy just to try and hit us on the counter we get found out. Lampard has never managed to find a plan b

The plan A doesn’t seem to be tried properly either. He’s supposed to be about crosses into the box with player attacking. Most of today it was three players pissing about in triangles by the corner of the area while shortarse BTA gets drowned in defenders.

What our fans are failing to realise is that every single time frank lampard has the chance to take ellis our of the team he does so , this isnt the first time .

He talked about asante not being fully fit and then he brings him on and has a good 30 against boro and ellis is dropped again .

I think we shit the bed tbh

Final third was poor all evening, and that was mainly due to the inept performances of Haji Wright and BTA

We didn't win enough second balls for a start also

It was clear 20 minutes in BTA down the middle and Haji wide wasn't working, why not swap them over until half time? Think Lampard was poor with that, alongside changing a winning side

Can't get on Milans back hes saved us way more than hes let us down

Bta was playing against a team who had 5 up front and desperately needed goals.

It was madness to think that would be the same tonight.
