Stoke Away! It's like an episode of Thomas the Tank Engine now. Still fancy us to win both games. Stoke are awful and can't see Plymouth trying to sit back hoping for a draw.

Torp is going to have to play more advanced if Eccles and Lati after playing aswell. Don't really want to see a flat 3.

Hello there

You may recall I write a regular preview/review slot on Pasoti entitles One Game at a Time. I started the season with You're Only Here for the Pasties as the subhead but we have seemingly developed a theme of referencing local delicacies.....

It is very much a green tinted view of the world, written firmly tongue in cheek and I am always happy to correct factual inaccuracies but the jokes are the jokes.

This weeks preview includes a few thoughts on the previous fixture, some players who you have sent west over the years who made an impact in Green.

Since last we met you have had impressive form and whilst we at Home Park are all devastated we may not see the excellent Callum O'Hare tonight we all hope he recovers in time for Saturdays trip to appear on the Great Potters-y Go Down on BBC2.

Safe travels to all coming West.
Here it is. Enjoy

We're going to have to use the full squad given all the matches we have coming up. That includes Godden and he deserves our support and respect.
I support and respect him, but that doesn’t win games of football. Simms is a better fit right now and should have a bigger future with the club.

Whether he’s travelled or not I can’t see him starting. Big game for Palmer today. Got to make more of an impact in the league.

I think people are being overly positive about Simms contribution in games to be honest
He was ok in his substitute appearance in Sunday but that's very much the exception. I do wish we would give him time to develop rather than keep playing him.

Yes because Simms has been prolific hasn't he.

I don't get this he must play just because he cost a lot. Godden is much more likely to score.
In what universe is Godden more likely, I love the guy and he's been fantastic for us but as it stands now , Godden is no where near as likely to score than Simms

He brought Kitching straight back in after his previous red card, there’s absolutely no reason why he won’t do it again tonight. And he should, he is the better defender.

The last one wasn’t his fault though was it, we appealed because it was so ridiculous. Norwich was for a reckless last man tackle.

Simms is young enough to improve and get better, Godden is on the decline and only getting worse.
Simms can match the defenders physically where as Godden can't.

Simms has been poor and there is still a time and place for Godden but it's a no brainer for me who should be getting the majority of the minutes
