With the benefit of a truck load of hindsight I agree. For better or worse, going to games like those are ultimately why anyone not made of plastic supports their club.

Still doubt I’ll ever rewatch the game though.
It’s on my Sky box saved - still not brought myself to watch it.

Not so much a highlight, but a sad moment when we lost our oracle. He kept us well informed on the financial status of the club, the reasoning behind many decisions with his extremely informative post. He helped us all keep our sanity, and see things for what they were. So sad he is not around to enjoy the new begining with new ownership after all those years of getting us through the SISU debacle. May Oldskyblue58 RIP and enjoy some turkey in a higher place. Truly missed.

High points Blakburn away and boro away twice plus Hamers goal at Wembley and the disallowed one after Panzo

Low points obviously losing at Wembley, not having time to replace Gus, arguing with idiots away from home having a pop at the players and disrespectful tossers smoking in the toilets.

Some people really bought into the homesick rumours, and effectively wanted us to give him away so he could have decent access to his child. I suspect a few may have taken that standpoint through previous experience themselves of being forced into being a long distance parent, given the passion that was exhibited in some messages on here at the time.

Personal highlight for me is actually getting you all to finally admit i do know someone within the club after years of being called a bullshitter 😂😂

Lowlight probably offering to wank you all off and falling for my source only saying 'Bajcetic' the c**t

On the pitch, Being so close to finally returning to the big time after 22 years was tthe best but also worst moment of the year for me. The whole end of season run culminating in Wembley has given me some unreal memories but also the worst heartbreak i have ever felt in football.

But we will do it again, im sure of it. By 2028 we will be a premier league side

No we didn’t light it but Earlsdon’s trying to fight it
Still waiting for my hand job...

The recruitment has been appalling thread has to be up there just for the sheer volume of piss on sheets.

Serious call out for the amount of money raised in the season ticket fund.

There were so many people in denial about Hamer clearly not wanting to sign a new deal that the pharaoh ran out of space

Yes, I put 100% of my on pitch vote to Hamer’s goal too. They show it before KO now don’t they. Said to my dad on Wednesday night that I love watching that goal, but in equal measure it breaks my heart. And as has been said, that goal went in and it felt like our time. Hamer stays on the pitch and we’d be premier league.

Saddlebrains offering to wank off every single bloke on the forum if we signed MVE because he felt it was so unlikely and then it actually happened.

The lead up to it happening was the funniest time I’ve had on here, the forum was actually entertaining rather than the occasional putting each other down and fighting over stupid shit

I can't remember the poster sorry but I laughed out loud at

Call me controversial but I'm starting to think Mark Robins knows more about football than Greggs.

Apologies if I've got that wrong.

Personal highlight - greeting the team at their hotels for the SF and Final. Especially the final.

And when Hamers goal went in, wowzers.

Forum highlight - GIMOC messaging me privately asking if there was an issue after I called him out for not being in the know on fixture release after he had literally copy and pasted something I'd said on a DM to 3 others. Plank.

Sad moment of the year - OSB passing :-(
