It's very relevant really when you think about it.

Maybe that's why Wright isn't scoring enough.
Maybe he just cant get past his marker.

🙄

Read all 138 comments on the tube this morning. Biggest insight was how it’s possible to get a marker pen to sign a wooly hat. Cheers lads

Caught up on BBC sounds. The question to MR as to why he signed so many (four) centre backs when we had just one on the books and play with three was a particular highlight.
If only he could've responded how you know he'd have liked to "How many have we got? Yeah, so 5 centre backs for 3 positions, dickhead". Was defintely a CWR post game phone in question that one

Haven’t had chance to listen yet but going from the comments it doesn’t sound like Robins and King don’t get on which I think has been rumoured before.

Also the idea that King was signing players without Robins knowledge has been categorically ruled out by Robins, good to hear.

Tbf, and I'm certainly not saying they don't, but a fans forum isn't exactly the place where dirty laundry will be aired - they're always going to put on a United front

You must've missed King's Judas shot in the kidneys as Robins was walking off stage then. Couldn't believe it. This is why you have to watch until the end of the credits. 😄

Robins comes across very well

Sounds like both Sakamoto and Wright have struggled with the move to the UK in their own ways - a lot of time devoted to explaining how hard it is for foreign players to move to a new country

The comment about O’Hare putting on weight makes it sound like he may not be quite the same player he was when we last saw him

King admitting that it was a bit “random” for him to buy the club was in itself extremely random
Pep Guardiola said it often takes at least a year for a player to adjust to a new country. An ex Chelsea manager, (they change so often) said 15 months.

If we had anybody good enough, they would be used.
Why use an academy player, who is not up to championship standard, just because they are from the academy.

We have used academy players out of necessity in the past, not because we have a good academy, just because we had nobody else.
It pretty much got us relegated from league one.
We use them in the cups and that usually goes well

It’s not rocket science, he hasn’t signed a contract because he’s keeping his options open to see what offers appear on the table. It seemed he was happy to move to Burnley in August 2022 so will clearly do what’s best for himself as his contract runs down. As with Gus and Vik, I don’t expect to see any loyalty from him if he sees better opportunities/pay elsewhere.

Or it may be we have to wait and see if he comes back as good or if he breaks down again like Jodi Jones. Would be foolish to commit too early or leave it too late. A crucial balancing act

It doesn’t really apply to Wright whose played in 5 countries already

Don't think we get the chance, probably decided, he'll walk imo.

Less so due to the language, but the bloke has probably never step foot in England before.

I think you’re right. There’s a contract on the table, presumably not derisory or he would’ve rejected it outright. Maybe the club would have offered more if he was up and running but I suspect our best offer is probably there. I don’t think he runs it down and leaves on a free but will be sold in the summer.

How does that work when his contract ends in the summer?!?

Did anybody ask why there was such a fiasco with the season tickets and the kits and what the club plan to do so we aren’t starting the new season and the kits still aren’t being sold and the away kit being released after about 6 games.

I’d also like to see the question asked in future if they know about Covcept and could perhaps engage him for kit designs

Course they fucking didn't, Its a difficult question for the lord and saviour to answer, much easier asking him which crisps he likes
