I very much doubt Biamou is on anything like 4k. It's not really a particularly hot take. I would Biamou is closer to 4k then 1k (more likely 2.5-3k). But he was prime candidate for Grendel to get his knife into and twist it, was the same with Leigh Burge and it would have been the same with Ben Wilson had he not done so well last season, he had it in for Cuffy as well and there will be one this season. I remember Oggy saying during pre season that he thought Biamou would offer the team more than Vik and he was surprised he had been let go in favour of Vik.
in truth none of us knew just how much Vik would blossom during his 2 full seasons with us.
Max player his part in our rise, Vik an even bigger part ( because of the cash he leaves us with ) but we need to find some new heroes to take us on again.
He scored 10 goals in nearly 60 appearances before coming to us. Hardly 'consistently excellent'??
His GPG on a MPG basis pretty much everywhere from youth level up was 1 in 3.
