Like the shirt but the release is odd. Image looks pretty ropey, evidently not had time to get any photos done.

Where is Gussy's new 2 year deal also?

Lady Godiva, as it's the city's emblem and the sponsor logo, at the bottom of the shirt - perhaps?

I’m not buying a shirt if it’s full of sponsors names , I would rather pay an extra £50 without .

Kits beautiful if you order without the sponsor .. looks great

What do people actually want from a sponsor? People complain when we have local firms that it makes us look tinpot, complain when we have a betting sponsor, complain when we have someone whose colour scheme doesn’t match ours.

Now we’ve got someone who seems to tick all the boxes and the thread is full of don’t like the sponsor comments

If it wasn't owned by his brother people would think "oh that's a good sponser"

Not saying you were wrong but not sure it is necessarily a negative.

I assume doug was struggling becsuse he was asking for too much money for the shirt sponsor?

Because I can't see companies unwilling to sponsor us for any other reasons?

If king of shaves is paying more money than what others were willing to pay then that's ok with me.

I like it although would rather stripes on the back too. Detailing is a nice touch and we are lucky to get it. Most kits don’t have that level of detail.

I like stripes but not combined with a plain back and sleeves, if it's a league rule I'd rather stick with a solid colour. Bit of a mishmash

It is undeniably funny that our summer-long search for a major brand to sponsor our shirt has ended with us landing on….the owner’s brother. I somehow doubt he’s paid a fortune for the opportunity, but even if he has it’s basically robbing Peter Will to pay Paul Doug.

My lad has been begging me to order the new kit for a couple of weeks. I told him, "what if it's horrible?" He said don't care - "it's the cov kit."
