Would like us to shop in England for defenders and abroad for forwards, mainly because I think you can still can value for money on defenders whereas anyone who knocks in 5 goals over here is immediately worth a few million.
The other reason being that I'm programmed to think unheard of foreign defender = dodgy clown but unheard of foreign forward = next Ronaldo.

I want some random attacking midfielder/winger with some kind of crazy hair and a Latin/African background.

We need the Vik sale to go through now so it releases capital to Robins to complete signings.

I don’t get it. There’s no reason we need to wait to sign a player for a million or so, I can’t see us signing two or three £4/5m players. We must know where we’re likely to have targets and could get bids in. And Doug has said money is available for the right player before we sold Vik.

Hope I’m wrong but I have a feeling the transfer targets aren’t as lined up as we’d hope.

We've already been bidding on players and throwing a bit of spending power around already, ie Leighton Clarkson, Milan Van Ewijk (who is easily 4mill plus) and maybe others we don't know about. The vik sale will definitely help, but then clubs will ask for more as they know you have the wonga.

Hopefully things will start moving this week. There’s a lot of champ clubs who haven’t brought anyone in yet.

Hope so. Just still got PTSD from last season.
“Players aren’t back”
“Other teams haven’t bought anyone”
“Still abroad”
“Season hasn’t started”
“Window hasn’t closed”
“There’s still January”

First week of July is when things usually get kicking if they’re going to, so let’s see what this week holds.

Buzzing to start the season with Bidwell playing LCB against Jamie Vardy, Harvey Barnes and Patson Daka

Im not saying for every transfer target but if Robins knows he will get a chunk from Vik sale for players it does affect some of the targets we go for. As in instead of a £500k option at RWB he can now spend £2m…

It's only been just over a month since the final defeat and we've made a signing already - I reckon (hope) there will be some movement next week.

We very rarely get the same loan players back. However, there might be a chance with BNC as he only did half a season with us. I would also potentially test if he’s available to buy.

Another story on us tomorrow from Nixon, let's see if its a new incoming or a link we already know about, he normally breaks news we didn't already know about

Shouldn’t necessarily be aiming to spend more. If the right targets are available at lower prices we should be looking to get them done. Ethan Laird is prime example in my opinion, great signing for sub-£1m.

Get the Vik money in and we can sign 5 players at £4m each and bring in 5 loans, a couple of out of contract players and 2 or 3 young guns and we're good to go. 😁

Do people honestly rate him that much? I thought he was ‘alright’

Had some relatively good moments, had a lot of poor moments. Would rather look elsewhere personally

Personally I think with a pre season he’d be a solid player for us as he often wriggled his way through some tight spots and is actually quite dynamic
