As things stand, the first team is slightly weaker than last season, but not to the extent we should stay rock bottom and be losing most games. There’s still plenty of talent, particularly in the forward areas, and there should really be a response tonight. Lose this and on Saturday and even with the games in hand the gap starts to look pretty horrendous. Bring back 3 points lads, please.

In every match, two teams are involved, and unfortunately ours will often come off second best (particularly so when fate conspires against you). Taking the long view, I'm happy with MR and where he's taken us. The idea that he and AV don't try and address issues is a bit simplistic. Even if we were to go down, I'd still stick with him (see Rotherham).

Our defence is soooo slow we cannot push up to close the midfield gap so the midfield have to come back then leaving our striker/strikers isolated at least on this subbuteo sized pitch we can close the gap a little but yet again I feel ...nil points yet again
