I think we will get a result tonight. I don't think we're that bad and 5 in a row seems too many! The laws of avergae will surely swing in our favour at some point. Luton don't look brilliant.

To be fair they didnt look brilliant last season and stole points off us, hopefully we give them a battering

As things stand, the first team is slightly weaker than last season, but not to the extent we should stay rock bottom and be losing most games. There’s still plenty of talent, particularly in the forward areas, and there should really be a response tonight. Lose this and on Saturday and even with the games in hand the gap starts to look pretty horrendous. Bring back 3 points lads, please.

Really tight pitch, doesn’t suit us at all.
Their all energy high tempo pressing football is going to cause our slow back 3(Doyle, Mcfadz) all sorts of problems.

Please please Robin's play gyokores up front on his own. With 4 in the middle.

Really need to win midfield battle and control it there. Fucked if we play 2 up front.

Think we'll need something to go in our favour to get anything.

Early red card
Soft penalty
GK howler
OG

Failing which, another loss and probably by 2 or 3 goals.

Potentially, Luton could get all four in their favour, within the first half.

We haven’t beaten them since 2017 - they’re probably eyeing an easy 3 points.
wouldnt have thought so, and expect the 1st goal will kill the confidence of either team, so essential we get it
win tonight , and we are 5 points off the pack with 3 games in hand
Luton will be the opposite, which with their home form will probably bring more pressure

3-1 win

Anyway, I’d be looking to play a pretty deep defensive line and possibly look to go direct quite a lot. Further away from our goal the better.

Like he did against Norwich. MR only has a plan a no plan b.

In every match, two teams are involved, and unfortunately ours will often come off second best (particularly so when fate conspires against you). Taking the long view, I'm happy with MR and where he's taken us. The idea that he and AV don't try and address issues is a bit simplistic. Even if we were to go down, I'd still stick with him (see Rotherham).

Our defence is soooo slow we cannot push up to close the midfield gap so the midfield have to come back then leaving our striker/strikers isolated at least on this subbuteo sized pitch we can close the gap a little but yet again I feel ...nil points yet again :(

Granted about Hull that was a bad day at the office but Preston are decent, lost 1 in 9 now.
Millwall was down to Hamer being sent off otherwise we'd have won.
