So happy with the result. England smashing it all over the park too.
Really going for it tonight, gonna let the house pigeons out the cage and fill my dressing gown pockets with a variation of savory snacks including pork scratching and branston pickle cheddars. Smashed my last pint glass during an aggressive washing up session, so gonna have to pour my carling into a plastic sports style bottle.

'house pigeons'!! still a little voice in the back of my head saying it's Greggs, might be true!

Feels like Györkeres hasn’t been fit since the Blackburn penalty that wasn’t. We’re lucky we’ve got two backup strikers who are 3 in 3 and 2 in 2.

Maatsen and JCS really good today. Sheaf looked lacking in confidence.

It's not surprising that sheaf is lacking in confidence when every little mistake is berated. Shocking with some fans, and sometimes it's not even mistakes its basic misunderstanding of football and the way he's being asked to play and he still gets destroyed.

Guy behind us today was screaming at him all game for not pressing when the fucking keeper had it.

New round here are we?

Er sorry I got carried away - Lucky to hold on, cant rely on just scoring one goal, we need to score more,, should be smashing teams like Hull, should be scoring 5 against a team like Hull, why take off a striker and put on a midfielder, negative tactics, relegation form.
😂

Vik’s goals have dried up since Waghorn has been out of the side but his partner always seems to score so maybe Vik was the real Waghorn all along
I get the impression that you’re holding back a touch so forgive me if I’m misinterpreting.
However from what I think you’re saying - I think I agree with you. Out of the 4 strikers, three are reasonably classy goal scorers, albeit Vik can add more of holding the ball up and use decent strength.
Waghorn on the other hand can be more of a foil and create spaces and chances for others.
It’s a stretch to compare him to Heskey as he plays a completely different game, but the loose comparison is solely based around helping his strike partner score more and his goals to game ratio suffer at the same time.
Then again, I could be talking crap after 5 pints!

they didn't really threaten, (nor did we second half), but it never really feels comfortable at 1-0, as Derby last week proved.
Oh yeh last min was scary. Especially when nearly gave away a pen

But other than that never expected to concede. Altho we do have to make more chances per game like we used to earlier in season

But good win. Top 6 is realistic for another week or so that's for sure

We did what we needed to do today. I will say we have not looked as controlling on the ball as we normally have been in the first 10 games. It's a slight dip in form to be fair. Vik is no so effective and the team has had changes each week. But a win away will hopefully bring back the extra belief in what we can achieve.
Never thought Hull would score in a million years but was concerned we could give one away. We need to improve and get back to the early season form. But look where we are in the league, and tell yourself if you were in that team, did you fear anyone in this league? Top two may be a stretch but playoffs must be in their minds.
Need to beat Swansea who for me are very capable side and it won't be easy.

Felt like he was trying the easy ball a lot and it hampers him. Attacking your own players is so self defeating.

i think he's one of those players who has a bad habit of making mistakes that are costly. i think he got away with a few today because of the quality of the opposition. I do like him, and I keep saying it, but I don't think playing so deep suits him.

Agree about attacking your own players and can't believe in 2021 people still think its the thing to do.
