I quite like Russell Martin, but a bit surprised a slightly bigger club didn't come in for Twine.

To be fair, he has got a bit of baggage but is an awkward player to play against. As much as I love him for NI, I wouldn't have him ahead of Godden or Walker.

He's got the same agent as John Fleck so knows the club well.

Not in terms of affordability but value for money. I think we can spend bigger than what is let on but it has to be one that Robins seems worth it

Possibly yeah. Was very surprised they were releasing him. Feels like a bit of a slap in the face for him, sort of "We'll maybe offer you a new deal if we can't find anyone better".

On his day, absolutely unplayable but bit of a maverick &, as such, horribly inconsistent. Wouldn't be against his signing though & doubt he'll be short of options.

Feel like hes a bit old for out current model. He was unplayable when playing against us for Bolton a few years ago. Don't remember him having much impact against us last season (or any notts player)?

Burns is a right sided wing back isn't he? While we have both Dabo and Da Costa at the club, and with the likes of Burroughs & Eccles who can also fill in there, I think we have more pressing needs elsewhere in the team - left wing back for one.
