Went for Bourton and Whelan. Loved Whelan, great player on his day, and Bourton needs to be recognised as he's the record goal scorer, even though I doubt many have watched him.

Bourton is definitely deserving to be in there & it's an incredible feat for sure. Can't really compare with Dion though who was a prolific scorer in the "Best league in the world"
Bourton's goals were almost all in Division 3 South

Aren’t we more likely to end up with the younger names rather than the older names due to who uses the internet more. Or has that stereotype of older people not being able to use it gone? My dad wouldn’t have a clue for example.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Probably going to be more of a vote of how old the fan base is.

All my votes have been for players I remember from around '98 onwards

I went Dion and Regis, but it was close with Ndlovu.

I wonder if all those being suggested would be happy for their names to be used in a place serving alcohol, such as Hadji or Big Mo? They probably wouldn't give a shit but might be worth checking to make sure.

Exactly the same for me. Ndlovu was the first name I had on the back of my shirt. Dion was my hero so had to be first choice and although Regis was before my time it only seemed right to pick him.

Dion, Cyrille and Keane for me. I know Keane wasn't there long but that was my favourite season and pretty much the happiest I remember being as a City fan.

Ha actually no i didn't, i remember we didn't win a single game though. Went to nearly every home game that season and we were brilliant 90% of the time so I could forgive having to watch us play crap away on MOTD.

That's delicious Greggs. Genuinely not sure if that was just supposed to be a dig at Dublin and you've made yourself look silly or whether you're just stirring by saying that and then including Cyrille! Very good!
