Got some insider info that's just been passed onto me because I'm very important and know lots of important people. Can't share my source for confidentiality reasons of course but this is what I've been told:
We're going to be signing multiple players between now and the start of the season. These players will play in positions that we need to strengthen and will have previously played for other clubs. Expect the signings to be announced at some point between this afternoon and September. Just passing on what I've heard from my very important mates, take it with a pinch of salt.

I think it’s one year option they’ve activated hence “extended” if they offered a new contract it’d say contract
