Go on then, prove the 98% thing. As far as I am aware you can't calculate that number. I really don't want to live like this, pretending it is not a problem would literally kill thousands off and overwhelm the NHS. Get that fucking vaccine in me.

There‘s been more people die in road accidents but we don’t ban driving ffs

Deaths with Covid or from Covid though? New variant...geeeez,they’re never gonna get it down to zero cases though,it’s impossible - when are we just gonna realize we’ve gotta live with it?

Might be worth waiting to see how we get on with the vaccine though. Just so Less people die like...

I don't believe road accidents are contagious.

They don't kill more people than covid either.
Think last year 17 or 18bhundred people died in RTAs, 3 or 4 days worth of deaths when Covid is at its peak.

And we have speed limits, tacofraphs, cameras, smart motorways etc to limit the dangers so it's a nonsensical argument

Or die from it, trouble is there are people dying from it who never died before.

What people need to realise is that the numbers are still high with restrictions. Imagine what it'd be like without restrictions.

Currently have Covid in my household and have symptoms myself. I can attest that it's a stressful time. We're all very worried.
My daughter works as a nurse in one of the Covid ICU wards here in Mallorca and picked up the virus ironically on a three day trip to Italy in September. She was very poorly for a few days but fortunately managed to get over it. My thoughts are with you because it's a very trying time when you have it in the family..

Very sorry to hear that and I hope you and the people you are with are ok and feel better soon.

Sorry to hear that Mark.

A friend of mine was very blasé about it all until his dad got it & was admitted to hospital, he's not particularly old either.
Thankfully all recovered ok but opened his son's eyes to the reality somewhat.

I don't believe road accidents are contagious.

They can be in a very local area. First car has a bump and then cars behind do as well trying to take evasive action. Without the initial crash their crash likely wouldn't have happened.

Sorry to hear that Mark. I thought I had it two weeks ago. Was knocked out flat for a couple of days with a slight temperature, a cold and a persistent cough. I went and got tested and thankfully it came back negative so it was probably only a strong cold and chest infection.

I still have the cough but get tested regularly and the one from last week came back negative as well.

Felt horrible though.

Good on Millwall for ditching the taking of the knee, virtue signalling, pointless bollocks

All this absolute insane tiering/lockdown bollocks over a virus that’s got a 98% recovery rate & since February has ‘only’ killed 300 odd people under the age of 60....it’s totally over the top

There‘s been more people die in road accidents but we don’t ban driving ffs

I rest my case, your honour.

My best friend had it and "recovered".

She has zero energy now though and is unable to climb stairs, walk the dog, or even do the most basic of housework. It totally knocks some people out for six and can do a lot of long term damage.

There was someone on 5Live the other day who has been suffering for 5months.

Its not just about deaths.

And if It IS bollocks, how come so many nations across the entire planet have implemented lockdowns and restrictions and masks and social distancing?

I would suggest because maybe they know an awful lot more about the situation than posters on a football forum.

Nah, Putin is there with the entire KGB/Russian Spy network at his beck and call, but forgot to check right down the bottom of the YouTube comments for the *real* truth.

I work in education now so can't stay at home. Colleague got it 2 months ago and sense of smell still hasn't returned. Taste not fully there either

Friend was similar. Younger than me, early 40s, got it April, took them until September to be able to get up the stairs in their house, is only since November they've been able to get up the stairs without being out of breath.

They'd struggle to get back into a stadium, for sure...

I'm not into conspiracy theories at all,I hate all that crap, plus I've said before,I know corona exists & it is a tragedy & I really am sorry if any of you have experienced it etc...I just don't quite think it's as bad as we're led to believe that's all - that's just my personal opinion
Certainly leads to a good debate anyway, sorry if I've caused offence etc PUSB
