Sat through 45 minutes of questions to Matt Hancock and Coventry finally comes up and she asks about free parking at Walsgrave Hospital. And to add to that he doesn’t answer her question. Ha ha

Hopefully, Coventry will stay in Level 3. It's just total dumbfuckery to want to go down a level 2 when Christmas and winter are close.

I think people are going to do what people are going to do. There's no point putting rules up 'cause most will ignore them.

I think I am going to stay where I am. There's no point trying the train. The carriages are just going to be like big Petri dishes.

I'm going to be on my own this Christmas because of that advice. That and if things keep in Tier 3 everything decent remains shut. Could really have used something to look forward to.

Coventry's connectivity with London will be interesting to watch over the next month or two on the covid map.

Will Brum be hit first?

Hopefully, this place will have some Xmas joy over the next few weeks. It's probably the most active forum in Coventry.

Well from memory we.dealt with it fairly well on the first wave , seemed to avoid levels in other regions.

Maybe. The match threads are a curious place at the best of times and some posters go from being knobs, to decent, back to knobs again. Bit like yours truly

He needs lifting Clint, not kicking when he’s down !!! 😉

Im the same BSB. I won’t risk seeing my mum and step dad and unlikely to even be able to enjoy the boozer with mates (can’t see Birmingham getting out of T3 now...I can but dream though). One year though mate, 2021 will be better !

I don't fare well when there isn't anything to look forward to in the foreseeable. Long term yes this will eventually be over, but this sustained stress level for the best part of a year has affected my resilience. That and never been alone on Christmas before, though it is just one day.

It seemed to me, looking at the figures, it was like trying to squeeze a balloon. Yes, the rate went down where it was high but overall, the rate was gradually climbing in Coventry.

I'm going to get a good amount of alcohol in and see how drunk I can really get.

All in the name of science :)

The BBC tier map is a joke and figures are a joke.

They've just added London and the South East to tier 3 and are reporting that is the tiers from wednesday.

Lying cunts

Also the new variant isn't that worrying yet. No evidence to say it is vaccine proof or more dangerous

Notice the question asked as to which other countries have this variant was avoided.
