Just here lolling at all the ITK “Baka in the bomb squad” lot.

I was one, got it wrong, still far more embarrassing stuff in this thread though, in fact, make that the last coupe of pages.

This is the start of 4 games in 10 days and by far the hardest fixture of the 4 on paper. Even if we lose today I don't think you can really judge this team selection until that run of matches is over.
What I do find strange is why Baka couldn't be given 20 minutes in the week. Or why Allen has sat on the bench without coming on, if this kind of rotation was in his mind. I don't think it's easy to switch straight into the intensity of matches at this level when you're out of favour and then thrust straight into the firing line.

It looks like MR is using this game to rest a few, and get minutes into others, we arnt even pretending to compete for a point.
0-2 and a very comfortable game for Narrwitch.
I'm so glad fans arnt splashing out to travel to watch this capitulation.
You do know it's still 0-0 , hardly a capitulation

Don't forget he hadn't played much football, and then had Covid, so I think a rest is fair enough. Particularly with the number of games coming up.

I agree with that but I don't think he or Hamer appeared to be flagging that much earlier in the week.

Robins is a pussy. He’s bottled this game before it’s even kicked off.

Daniel Farke's bitching about having to put youth players in the squad is like Chelsea fans saying they aren't glory hunters because 'I still supported them when they came 3rd'

I mentioned the Covid factor on another thread. It doesn't appear to be knocking young athletes for 6 in the way it is doing with other people but we don't no for sure that's the case with Walker, he may still be feeling the after effects.

We have got five subs to play with (as long as MR is willing to use them).

Walker, Biamou, Jobello, Hamer, Bapaga for the last 25 mins.

you can only make subs 3 times

Not today we don't. We just need a keeper who can hump it miles to the other end of the pitch, and then we make it hard for them to get back to our end.

Against Bournemouth (just to pick a comparable example), when we worked it out from the back, we rarely got past half way before losing possession. Better they start from their penalty area and put the onus on them. Possession does not mean much, as Cardiff showed. Their possession was at fault when we scored
Ok so 4 pts and 2 clean sheets

Lets change what we are doing

It’ll be just like that time we played Dan Agyei on his own up front at Carrow Road. Think I left at 4-1

Sensible decision in my eyes. It's not a game we expect to win, so why not give the key players a breather?

He’s never done it before so it’s slightly random

No manager goes out to lose a game, he's set up his side to counter attack today, with Tuesday also in mind... Kelly will sit infront of a centre half 3 providing cover, Baka used to chase and hold the ball up for the wing backs and ohare... Give it a bloody chance

Might get twatted might surprise you all... Weve a squad for a reason

He froze bakayoko out ahead of biamou - neither will play next game so that selection alone is very odd

The only thing I worry about is match fitness of players, Allen hasn't really played any proper football.

The guy who was implying MR should be sacked just weeks ago really just said that

Well I didn’t - you certainly aren’t an English teacher as comprehension is not a strong point

To me, it looks like he wants to go long and hold up... Biamou wins headers fair enough but Baka holds it up better.

That's why I think he's starting

Lol

'I'm not saying he should be sacked but these other teams sacked theirs and stayed up plus I'd hire Kenny Jackett as a replacement'

The choice of Baka makes sense. The job is to chase and harry for 90 minutes. Hamer, less so. But is a 'park the bus' team though, which is what is needed.

I predict 75 minutes of frantic back to wall defending and then two late Norwich goals
How about 75 minutesbacks to the wall then 5 subs and thenBOOM
