Noooooooo!!!!! Please stop with the ex player obsessions.
Injury prone, and not championship quality!

Would he be a better option as back up to Godden than Baka and max?

It was said on talksport yesterday that Wigan have sold a player or the administrator has but won’t be identified until the end of July m...what’s that all about! !!!
I know they sold a player and said that the fee for him will PAY players wages up until the end of July. That was Jensen Weir. A £2m bid from QPR has also been accepted for Kieffer Moore.

Telegraph (the national not the CT) crediting us and a few other clubs with a loan interest in Wolves defender Owen Otasowie.

Kevin Stewart from Hull would be a decent signing

what a story this is. Hull sign Kevin Stewart for a fee that could Rise to 7.5m and in turn sell Andy Robertson to them for £8m.

one is now in the top 10 full backs in the world and the other we are discussing about possibility of being a squad player for cov

How about Sammie Szmodics from Bristol City? Was on fire for Peterborough when they signed him, I reckon BC would be willing to allow him to leave for a few months to see if he can make the step up to Championship level.

Think he is seen as more of a midfielder but can play in defence too - more useful versatility.
Very inexperienced but been in a few squads for them & signed a new deal not long ago so they obviously have high hopes for him.

Was very good for Peterborough as you say but it was only a very short period; think he only played about 10 games?

I can't see us going for another CAM/No.10 anyway when we already have O'Hare, Allen, Shipley, Hilßner, Jones plus potentially Jobello could be tried through the middle.

I do agree we have plenty in those positions, I'm just not sure any of them are actually good enough (apart from O'Hare).

I do not see what people have against Allen he has played Champo football and he was pretty good in the games he has played you could see his quality
Because they know nothing about football, can’t they see how much we improved once Jamie Allen got into the team and up to match fitness. not saying he was better but was as influential on midfield and the team as Liam Walsh.
