Ah, that's a shame. Would imagine that's the case with most Hull players tbh.

Looking at Charlton I don't really fancy anyone from their current squad. A fair few decent players at Wigan like Morsy, Lowe, Williams, Dunkley etc. but would imagine a lot of them will be in demand.

Bit underwhelmed by Dadashov. Good to get a lot of business done early but doesn't really feel like we've signed many players that improve us yet. Very excited by Hamer but jury is out on whether he's an improvement on Walsh. O'Hare is O'Hare again, Giles is Giles again and then Dacosta, Hilßner and Dadashov all feel like squad players. Early days still though like I said, plenty of time to bring more in.

Wigan sold a player today apparently

He might want it but won’t get it be lucky to get half, very lucky. Financially Hull are one of the clubs stuffed with a lot of their players on big contracts and they ain’t on their own.

I think he will be in their squad. Getting rave reviews at Huddersfield
Yes could well do, there’s a snippet of him on YouTube and he looks a really good lad for his age. No chance of getting him on a permanent but a there will be a biggish first team re-build at Arsenal so it might be a year early for him there, he’s certainly too good for U23s, worth a try.

Underwhelmed by players you know nothing about? I suppose you were doing jigs in the street when we signed Walsh as you knew what a good signing he was going to be

The wolves guy has a better record at a similar age to Callum Wilson when he came into our first team and he did ok didn't he..... Have some faith in robins and the team as I think they probably know more than you do ;)

I don’t doubt the scouting teams ability to spot talented players. I’m just say that so far it feels like aside from Hamer and the players returning from last season it feels like we’ve focused on bringing in players as back-up in positions we’re already strong in. This is of course great, as having a strong squad is crucial to competing at this level, but I’d also like to see some players come in that feel like upgrades on what we already have.

It’s not a criticism, just think we’re at a stage in the recruitment where we’re bolstering as opposed to outright improving which isn’t quite as exciting. Of course there is nothing to say that Hilßner, Dacosta and Dadashov will end up displacing Allen, Dabo and Godden by the end of the season but we’ll have to wait and see.

I think in terms of recruiting we are at an early stage Robins has said he is waiting for the championship to finish and that happened last night except for the play-offs I would think in the next fortnight or so things will happen and we have until October before the transfer window shuts.

Anyone think we might see some bids for players now the Championship is over?

I think so. Especially when Robins indictated waiting for the current seasons to finish which would imply potential out of contract players we could be looking at.
Will be interesting to see

Charlton in a transfer embargo and can't even offer contracts to their players who's contracts are expiring, and all Wigan players will be available for transfer, got to be a few players worth looking at.

It was said on talksport yesterday that Wigan have sold a player or the administrator has but won’t be identified until the end of July m...what’s that all about! !!!

Dominic Samuel available on a free out of contract with Blackburn surely worth a punt on a free if he could stay injury free
