Why the shade towards Tranmere?
They got to the league cup final and were nearly promoted in 99 I think it was. They were non league and have done very well in pulling themselves out of their spiral and deserve every credit. Damn fine owners as well. A good model for us to follow.
any club (or individual) that doesn't want the season curtailed and potentially derail our promotion is going to get stick.
Don't think it's especially personal. Any club that votes for resuming is going to get stick as well.

Durham in the Mowbray season absolutely slammed us for our loanees, saying how unfair it was blah blah
Surprised he hasnt started again
He's given us pelters for all sorts of reasons over the years. But fair comments today.

Absolutely nothing against them. There was a time when Stoke City where the same

So many teams have games cancelled due to cups, internationals etc. Clutching at straws at best with that argument.

Weighted PPG is rightly off the table as a terrible alternative to PPG - you only have to look at West Ham & Bournemouth to see why that is the case.
What is it about Bournemouth and West Ham and what relevance does it have to League 1 anyway?

Tranmere's fans have been a lot better than Posh's. I don't it against anybody trying to do what's best for their club but instead of moaning and bitching they could have been trying to come up with practical solutions to avoid other clubs going bust, as they've not been able to I assume that it isn't possible and the season therefore has to finish.

I'm sure if you offered Tranmere fans two promotions and a relegation a few years ago they'd have snapped your hand off. I think they'll have a good chance next year in league two.

I'm guessing it's down to straight ppg being the established formula. If the premier league couldn't continue then straight ppg relegated Bournemouth but weighted West Ham go down.

Just listened to the Durham show and I can see his point on the Tranmere issue. I don’t think this is 100% settled yet especially relegation, Certain it will all depend on what the Premiership do, still have doubts all these Prem games will happen and that then leaves 6 clubs dangling, and wouldn’t be surprised if they vetoed relegation, been talked about as a possibility for a while
