And here's one of the biggest. Obviously enjoy spending your day arguing with pricks.
Glad I've got better things to do.

That's why you had to come on and post about it. You can just not click on the topic.

This is the forum equivalent of people who loudly announce they are quitting facebook or twitter.

Sound mate just dont come on the thread

how? so what I say and show is not factual?

No, but it is biased. Why not counterpoint it with a video showing white people also not adhering to the distancing - there's plenty available.

Fact is you always choose to show those of minorities flouting the rules. Gotta ask why that is.

Except I use tapatalk you fucking clown. So any new post comes onto feed, no matter what the topic.
Unfortunately that means I have to read the constant drivel that you post.

You're right though. For my sanity, I should fuck this forum off until the football comes back.

Yes, if one section of the population is impacted at a higher rate than it accounts for in the population then it is disproportionately impacted.

Not sure what article you're referring to but if its deaths rather than infections I would expect the relevant medical experts to be looking into why that is the case as that will allow them to improve treatment.

If its infection rate rather than death then I would suspect more likely to be socio-economic reasons such as a higher proportion of men still working in jobs that can't be done from home. Again I would expect the relevant experts to be looking at that to see what can be done.

Why is she making negative headlines by making accurate statements about racial inequality? I don’t follow politics, who is saying that she’s made a big mistake saying something like that?

Because it's spin. Yes, BAME communities are more at risk, but she's using that to push an agenda.

There are more males affected than females, despite there being marginally more women than men in our society and men on the whole having more advantages in life than women. Why has that not been made a big issue? Because it's a far more complex situation than that.

and she represents cov? Shocking! what has race got to do with this?

Erm... nothing except there is a demographic skew towards said cultures.

It is the same in the US. It may be a whole number of reasons/ there may be similar age profiles but poverty, social interaction etc all play a part. It is not a race issue other than identifying the high proportion of deaths in comparison to the actual percentage of that group in the whole society. In other words....it is the way it is...

edit. Good points about political gains have been made. It would be interesting to know what she wants...Subtext...equality, equal access to health services. Social inertia may be the biggest reason for the higher BME deaths.

Is she pushing an agenda about perceived racism or an agenda about inequality?

Total horseshit. The worst offenders are you spoit brat left wing lot. If things go against you your out on the streets trying to protest that whatever never went your way. Look at Brexit. Full of leftie idiots on the streets saying anyone who voted for it was a racist/nazi. Look at the Tories getting back in,same again, leftie knobheads screaming and shouting that it's not fair blah blah. Look at your yank leftie mates when trump got in. Fuck me what a load of spoiled babies you are. Some middle class leftie was in London protesting saying she hoped boris Johnson would die a nasty death. Ironically she wanted to be a doctor. Oh the irony. Its called democracy. Things dont always go your way so grow the fuck up and accept it. Ironically you preach democracy but then we have a democratic vote and it goes against you cry like the spoilt brats that you are. Who is it that's always out on the streets protesting and spewing their undemocratic views? Oh yes leftie wankers. You dont see normal working class middle of the road people kicking off. You don't really see right wingers kicking off either. Its you fucking lot. The country sits back pissing its pants laughing at you fools. Grow the fuck up accept things dont always go your way,dye your hair a normal colour, have a wash and get a fucking job.
As they say in the U.S. "Have a nice Day"

What is the agenda? Just had a look at her timeline and she's also tweeted about working people, particularly the self employed, being helped; non-essential workplaces being shut down; the low level of SSP; lack of protection for transport workers; called for students to be released from rental contracts and requested help to repatriate constituents who are overseas. And that's just the last two days.

Don't know much about her to be honest but either I'm not seeing something everyone else is or you're trying to find something that isn't there.

If you’re posting about how the brown people aren’t following lockdown you’re either a racist or so thick you’re taken in by racist propaganda. Moreover to believe it you must already have in your head the idea that people’s behaviour can differ because of the colour of their skin, which is the dictionary definition of racism.

Also, don’t link to a MEN article and claim the media are covering it up FFS. It was a gang of youths being dispersed by the police, hardly the stuff of 6pm headlines.

But is it cos they is black?

Black Americans are far more likely to live inner city, in apartments blocks etc where social distancing etc is harder. This is linked to higher levels of poverty within that community.

While the statistic may well be true, it would seem some are trying to spin a narrative that the black community are being ignored at the expense, whereas I believe the impact is more likely to be from issues like their housing situation. This is linked to intrinsic financial inequality between race and it would be interesting to see what the figures are when you adjust for more wealthy black Americans that own suburban homes etc and can more easily avoid contact.

The worst thing the left did was trade class for identity. The issues that affect white working class people are generally the same as BAME working class people.

As with all the modern overly online left, my issue isn’t so much they’re wrong as they’re completely ineffectual.

Can’t remember if I put it here, but went for a checkup at the “hot hub” testing centre in Foleshill. Long story short I have bronchitis not Covid. But was a weird experience, you park up and call a mobile number then wait for a nurse in PPE to bring you in while you don’t touch anything, she hands you a mask and squirts gel in your hands then straight into a room for a checkup and back to the car to wait for them to decide what to do. Didn’t get a test as she was happy it wasn’t Covid, but was impressed with the whole operation TBH and especially how it made going to the doctors feel like buying illegal drugs.

Yes I think most probably should.
But what is the obvious link between busses and supermarkets?
You still need both
They are in contact with people and have to work

Hospitals obviously can’t shut down, public transport on the other hand can ‘or a t least be
significantly scaled back.
As of March 23rd journeys on transit modes inc, Bus, Train, Subway, light rail were down
86% in Milan & Lombardy, 84% in Madrid, 78% in Paris, while in London it was down 40%

That’s all I was getting at really.

Spot on, as Dennis Skinner would say it's about class at the end of the day

It can not be suspended as it is needed to get key workers to work. The buses and tube are scaled back due to sickness. the issue is if yiunscale back the services the busescor trains running become busier as we are seeing

Interesting no test. Almost as if they don’t want to increase figures unnecessarily
