Some more for the “shit companies” list

cineworld- assured employees all jobs safe last week, this week laying off large numbers & threatening employees to say nothing on social media. Made £293m profit in 2018

EasyJet- they want lots of your money as part of a bailout, while approving a dividend of £60m for Stelios.

Just read that so basically he fucked up and took too long to get his act together making a decision which could of saved lives

yes- that exact story is being reported more widely now, and the fact that Jeremy Hunt went ‘public’ and Hancock refused to back the herd immunity plan, plus increasing pressure from everywhere to stop fucking around meant that boris eventually had to take a stand and do the right thing. But god only knows how many lives are going to be put at risk due to our glorious leaders playing games.

I think give it a month the UK figures will blow Italy’s out of the water the way it’s going & still no talk of lock downs or curfew just people out shopping enjoying life

Unbelievable

then you have the Daily Mail running a story on “Britain’s Brilliant Boltholes”- a list of places for people in cities to go and stay so they can be isolated. They talk about Jura- old population, remote, with no hospital- basically encouraging people to spread the virus all over the country to places that would have no hope of coping.

I don’t get why we haven’t gone into full lockdown ? It’s not working we seem to be going at such a pace now of infections

I just don’t know, doesn’t make sense to me either. Was just on Twitter & pubs/ cafes that are opening are being named & shamed with MPs threatening to get their licenses permanently revoked. Twitter ain’t the best if you’re nervous about all this!

It’s now all over French media that unless Johnson does something fast, France are going to close all borders with the U.K. Macron says we are not doing enough, it’s neglectful and if we don’t step it up immediately he’ll shut the borders down.

Coronavirus : les coulisses du bras de fer entre Emmanuel Macron et Boris Johnson

"Herd immunity in the absence of a vaccine has never been at the centre of any medical/public health project in the world. UK Government & its advisors appear to have been involved in some massive unprecedented EXPERIMENT on UK population with poor data on a new viral threat“

Let’s close pubs but let 1000,s into supermarkets each day

lol, will probably wake up tomorrow with someone ranting about supermarkets alright. But it’s bad, the way they’re behaving is ridiculous. My cousin said that in Hinckley people spotted the co-op delivery van outside the shop and literally left their cars in the road to sprint in & try to empty the place of bloody sausages & bacon. Those people’s behaviour is just as damaging as the pub goers, it’s just motivated by fear & greed as opposed to motivated by naturally being a c*nt and wanting to stick two fingers at the nation.

Surprise surprise, the looney lefty socialist puts in an appearance.
Give it a rest shmmeee, this is far more worrying than you could imagine.

And you've got enough on your plate my friend.
(No offence)
I am not a loony left. Instead of blindly voting Labour whatever I now consider what would be best for my kids and grandkids. In the last election none of them were worthy of my vote.

And at this minute I am calling you out as a moron. It is people like yourself who are putting the health of others in danger.

So you finally agree with Nick :D

What?!

Are you fucking serious?

I'm the one that has been suggesting more stringent measures for over a week while you've been happy to keep everything open as the economy is more important to you.

Go fuck yourself you fucking c**t.
Hold on.

A couple of days ago you didn't reply on if it was the case or not. You just went into hiding.

I’m still not sure what that was actually all about, I thought everyone was saying the same thing, but clearly not :)
Very simple.

Those keeping their distance in pubs are supposed to be spreading the virus. Those panic buying need to eat.

Or so we are supposed to believe. But the truth is those in a pub with lots of space were hardly a risk. Going shopping is a massive risk.

They do need to eat, and that’s a higher priority than a few jars, but they don’t need to behave like animals and put everyone else in danger. I don’t think anybody was questioning that though were they?

This is true- you even see it on here. The Conservatives could do absolutely anything and the same old idiots here would somehow justify it and try to deflect away. They are just sheep. And labour would be similar, critical thinking has disappeared.
Critical thinking hasn't disappeared. You just get battered from each side if you do. And that is even when both sides admit their leaders are shite.

yes you’re right there, you have put it much better than I did.
I have got used to getting battered from both sides.

Labour voter all my life. But I see the faults. Have never voted Tories but can see why others would.

New Labour were Tories in red. They shafted our pensions. The Tories shaft us all the time. Boris is a twat. Corbyn wasn't even capable of beating a twat.

But less of that. We have a virus to beat.

My wife and I have just agreed to total lock down for the foreseeable. Shes not going to her mums tomorrow, wont see her sister either.

Only one of us to leave for food only.

Stay strong folks.

Wish we could do the same.

I am being really, really careful, but my wife works part time at a very busy store and worse still, they have just started putting her on the tills because they are short of staff.

She is therefore having lots of close social contact and cash is constantly filtering through her hands too.

Do you know anyone who's died of covid-19?
Do you know anyone who knows anyone who knows anyone who has died of covid-19???
Wake the fuck up! Your being controlled ffs.
What new laws will be passed on the back of bat flu? What civil liberties will be lost as a result.
How long will this go on before people wake the fuck up?

It’s inevitable that the UK is going to end up the worst impacted country in Europe, despite all the evidence that has played out in front of it, all thanks to the government.

So...you are saying Fatso is a top government minister then?
