No I won't be going. I wont be going to any games there regardless of the opposition.
Youd think it was the champions league final the way some people are going on about it.
Yep-can’t get my head around it. The 6,000 odd that haven’t been going have somehow appeared again from somewhere. Be interesting to see what the next “home” gate will be against Bolton.

Yes, let’s slag off our own fans now as well as slagging off the manager.

You do realise it's not the same 6,000 going every week?
There will be people who go every 2,3 or 4 games but a lot of them want to see this one.

Agree I can't make it every home(away) game so just go when a few of us can get together and make a day of it. 12 of us going Saturday and finding it a ball ache trying to organise decent transport that doesn't cost to much.

Not slagging off anyone squire. Slag me off if you want as I am one of the ones who won’t be going. Just asking the question regarding the following home game.
Regarding the manager-I understand you’ve had a long day, and just for information I think he also is doing a decent job.

As always, the people staying away feel the urge to tell everyone else all about their morally superior decision, as if it makes them more virtuous than everyone else.

This thread is up there with the ‘listen to me just hear me out’ thread in terms of absolute mind numbing stupidity. Robins is the best manager we have had in years.
If you don’t think he’s doing an incredible job then there’s no pleasing you.

I concur.: Without knowing the absolute facts of budget/wage bill/resources/ net spend or whatever!

But it’s my opinion.Robins does not have a a top 7/8 clubs resources in this league. So he’s doing an incredible job.

Overachieving imo. And most pundits and general consensus by most media also the same.

The clubs that do as I have mentioned earlier in other threads are :in no particular order...but I’m guessing are:

Sunderland
Ipswich
Posh
Oxford
Blackpool
Portsmouth

Reflected in pre season bookies odds. Direct correlation

We are Possibly on a par with Burton and Doncaster/Fleetwood....again reflected in pre season odds. 8th or 9th favourites.

So in that respect he is well over achieving on top of that doing it with style of football that is the envy of most club singers in this league.

But as usual the folks on here to pass judgement on him like they are fucking experts.

Robins will be managing at a higher level than this. Of that there is no doubt.

For the people saying oh look at these people just coming to support there team now.
I'm going to this match, although can't make every one, I've been every now and again (about 7 matches now)

Now I'm sure everyone would like to be apart of a little bit of history, thus all those fans who go every now and again, will want to all come for this.

At the Ricoh last year there would have been about 75,000 separate people going, I expect now 25,000 in brummy.

We're not glory supporters (certainly wouldn't support cov if I was)

So adge and the Coventarian is not all or nothing, what's not going to any game going to achieve?

It makes them feel good about themselves, like they’re somehow better than us. That’s why they feel the need to tell all and sundry about it.

It’s also why they’re all pissy that people are excited about it, they realise they’re wrong but won’t admit it. I note that one of them is also one of the ‘Robins isn’t actually that good’ Victor Meldrew types, so it’s better they won’t go, as it frees up a ticket for someone who’ll get behind the team instead of sitting moaning & mentally noting every missed pass so they can make a log of all the mistakes in a dreary post on here come Monday morning.

Just reading snippets of this thread really does make you question why some people actually support City, never mind go onto a forum to discuss them.

So much unneeded negativity and pessimism at a time when we are in our best on field position (and everything auxiliary to that e.g. the impressive feed from youth/U23s to first team) for years.

Everyone has a right to question and discuss the manager, but most people will do it when it’s justified.

Too many point scoring idiots, egomaniacs and trolls.

Same negativity 2 years ago. Probably around this time. Then they turn around in May and say “ I knew Robins would do it”

I think there’s enough moaners there as it is...

Or dodge the question altogether by pretending they’re boycotting matches and so it’s not a valid thing to be held to account for any longer.

Has anyone actually said he's not doing a good job?

Yes plenty.....especially.after the Shrewsbury game they come out in full force. Taxi?

Believe it or not there were a lot of positive folk after the Shrewsbury game but the doom and gloom omfg.shpuld be balance.

You expect over reaction I get that after a defeat. But that just takes the god damn piss,

There’s folks on here wanting him to fail or players to fail.

This is a good point. From the tone of certain posters- Grendel, Platt Van Damme, Choi etc, it oozes through that they’ve probably already penned their “I told you so” sermons for if we drop away in the coming games, and they’d love it. It’s sickening.

Sorry, I was referring to this thread.
They'll always be over reaction after games, both negatively and positively.

It's the nature of the game.
