Baka was shocking again. Thought we defended well until their goal to be honest.

No away wins, no back to back wins, won by more than a single goal only once. Yet we're somehow hanging in there (although we will be out of the top 6 once the games in hand are played out).

That's why these dropped points are so frustrating, if we could just stay in touch until Jan you feel we could have a real shout because it will come good in front of goal at some point. A couple of bad results and we'll be mid table and when the gap to the top 2 goes over 12 points it becomes a mountain to climb. So frustrating, because we are a good side.

There’s no bed wetting. It’s not hard to figure out that our form with regards to not winning away, we will slip away from the top 6.

Disappointed, we played well and had some chances of getting a second but a lot of half chances. Goal difference a major issue but still upbeat that we can get the playoffs

On another note their fans were strange, very negative, half empty stadium and flooding out before they scored (then come running back in)

We had a lot of the game but only created one or two clear cut chances. I see Parkinson after the game said we didn't threaten them and they were the better side. Jesus...

Was hanging on for the last half hour or so. Can’t really complain about any of the lads. Fully committed performance. A good proportion ran themselves into the ground and the double substitution probably should’ve come 10 minutes earlier. Not a point gained but certainly one I’ll take.

Got to sort the striker position out, a lot depends on how long Godden is out and if Max can improve, but we miss good chances most games centre-forward had 3 today again. Still confident we will be right up there in April/May

Bakayoko was holding the ball up, Hiwula is even less than a lone striker than Bakayoko.

Hyam although he scored didn't have the best game today.
Why the Baka obsession? 2 great chances that he has fluffed yet again. One a six yard header when Burge was trying to help him out doing his best pigeon impression and the back pass when all he had to do was turn inside, but instead went on the outside and made it easy for Burge. Garbage footballer that you have just watched the same as all the rest of us but still defend him.

Didn't we score from the corner after burge saved the one in one?

Thought it was Hyam that scored?
So what you’re saying then is that because Baka missed an easy chance that led to a corner that someone else scored from, then it negates the missed chance in the first place? Ok.
Like to see what the excuse is for the other miss. Clueless.

He said we never threatened them but they deserved the 1-1. Er, ok then Phil. Makes sense!

He did score

My point wasn't that he was amazing but when he went off we couldn't get into their half at all.

I'd rather see your excuse for the shocking officiating as well.

Of course you would as that is your usual get out go to when you’re on the back foot. Either that or people not going to “home” games or changing their mind if they then decide to go.

Not really, just pointing out how much shit you talk and how you don't get what consistency is.

As soon as we made those changes, the game changed even more than it already had as we couldn't get the ball into their half for more than a few seconds.

Even though Hyam scored he had a shocker, if only he had just put the ball in the stands.

Don't know what the poor chap on the floor was more embarrassed by, getting hit in the arse by that clearance or fucking up in injury time #58493580290

Not a lot of choice as I think Hiwula is as bad all that’s happened the last month is Baka has shown us all he is not good enough at this level.

Grendel is correct, through injuries and a suspension Bakayoko has had the position to himself to make is mark and has failed dismally.
If my Auntie had bollocks she'd by my uncle is also correct. It's not the point though. Bakayoko was having a decent game as a target man today. When we took him off the ball came back too quickly. Play Hiwula on his own up front from the start and we probably lose the game going on his input when he came on.

Have to agree here I was calling for the exact changes sounded like we lost our way with them

Last year it was the poor family stand under our thuggish fans. This year they didn’t seem that meek scoring an equaliser.

Agree he's a poor finisher but we were far worse when he went off

Not sure how long we can keep defending Baka. Our best chances fell to him today and he didn’t take them

Genuinely felt like a defeat walking away from the ground tonight!

Awful goal to concede. Another example of us not keeping possession and conceding a sloppy goal through our own doing.
