After yesterdays performance by both teams i can only see a loss here. I also wonder whether we will score.
Heart wants a 1-0 win my head says a 0-3 loss and a 4th game of not scoring

Time for a change.

I'd go:
__________Marosi
Dabo__Hyam___Rose___McCallum*
Westbrooke_Kelly_Shipley
__________O'Hare
_____Godden*__Biamou

Subs: Wilson, Mason*, McFadzean, Walsh, Hiwula*, Kasta, Baka

Depends on how McCallum has recovered by Wednesday. Would bring Mason in if he's feeling the effects. Toss up between Walsh and Westbrooke but our best form was with this midfield three.

Biamou would probably have to come of after a bit which sort of leaves Baka to replace him.

However, MR won't do that

__________Marosi
Dabo__Hyam___Rose___McCallum*
____Walsh_Kelly_Shipley
_O'Hare__Godden*__Hiwula

Subs: Wilson, Mason*, McFadzean, Westbrooke, Biamou, Baka*, Kasta

I'll go 2-1 loss

Change the system 2 upfront if robins is so fond of Walsh play the 4312 & play Walsh & kelly together with Shipley,O’Hare number 10....just get kelly back in the side robins & stop fucking about

Our recent poor form has also coincided with the SBT bookies not being done......

I blame Nick ;)

Presuming Godden is still unavailable the only change I see is Kelly in, probably for Westbrooke, allowing Walsh to play a little more advanced. Noticed Walters did really well for the U23's the other day, so he might be a long shot to give us a different option off the bench.

Personnel needs tweaking for Wednesday less so much the system. I'd like to see Kelly come back into the side and O'Hare back in the middle of the park, that possibly means giving Kastaneer a start who looked like a Sunday league player as best yesterday but at least he's familiar with the role.

Coming up for this one. Only my second game so far this season. I’m going for a 2-1 win. Think we’ll get lucky. If Stanley can do Ipswich then why not.

We are a good side but having a tough patch by our recent standards. Good sides don't continue with poor results. I suspect the opposition will see us raise our game and get back to winning ways. 2-0

Usual CCFC win against a good team following 2 shockers against crap teams.

They'll come out and try and actually score a goal which will allow our football to work better, hopefully not all the teams have sussed out that if they just sit deep they are guaranteed a clean sheet.

Fingers crossed for Kelly as well

Anyone want 2 x season tickets for Wednesday? Getting a bit boring watching all this pretty football with no end product. It's like whacking your dick against a wall, fun for a few minutes - but then extremely painful.

I think we need a change of style
I’d go with something like the following assuming Godden not playing

Marosi

McFadzean. Rose. Hyam

Dabo. Kelly. Mason.

Westbrook. McCallum.

Biamou. O’Hare

Or Walsh and Shipley for Westbrook and McCallum
Or McCallum for Mason (but I think McCallum might also be decent in midfield)

Width would require Dabo and mason to get forward quickly...I think they are capable.

If I remember correctly a big part of Fleetwoods game plan at the Ricoh last season was trying to isolate the full backs 2 on 1 and getting quality crosses in to the box so that's something we need to be on our guard for.

If so might be worthwhile putting Mason back in. Need to make sure we've got cover on the bench for Dabo in case we need to bring him off.

I thought we were lucky to beat Fleetwood at the Ricoh last season, one of the very few games where we were second best but still won.( Most losses last season were the other way around). I actually thought we played better at Fleetwood when we lost 3-0 than in the return game. That match should have been over and done with before Fleetwood scored, had we taken our chances. At the Ricoh they had a shed load of corners and their delivery had us in trouble every time. I think it will be a really tough game but, as always, I think we will win.

I was thinking more about making sure the full back get the necessary support, or should we be thinking like that at home?

Providing the full backs with support is obviously needed, but the formation we play isn't always the easiest to provide it. So I think we need to make sure we're playing the full backs with the most 'nous'. IMO at LB that is Mason. Others may argue differently, as McCallum is taller so less susceptible to the ball over his head and probably a bit more cautious in getting forward.
