Wow early doors!!!

Really big game - hopeful of a slightly improved crowd. Do we think 8000 is possible after the break?

Looking forward to it already if I’m honest.

Can see the team looking very similar and very unlikely we’ll have Allen or Kelly back

Marosi
Dabo
Mcfazdean
Hyam or Rose - Hyam for me although I really like Rose
Mason
Shipley Walsh and Westbrook (or O’Hare) again for me I’d prefer Westbrook and bring on O’Hare last 30
Hiwula or O’Hare for me Hiwula as O’Hare a number 10 not a winger
Godden
Jobello or kastaneer - for me still jobello

But boring really but why change what’s worked up till now.

Optimistic 3-1

Pessimistic 0-2

Realistic 1-1

Massive test. Would love a win. Expect a loss. Maybe City have changed but my decades of experience being a City fan hasn’t.

1-3 Godden to score

Marosi
Dabo Hyam McFadz Mason
Westbrooke Walsh Shipley
Jobello Godden Hiwula

S: Wilson, Watson, Rose, O’Hare, Eccles, Kastaneer, Biamou

O’Hare on at 60 min

Doncaster have had some good results this season including a credible away draw at Ipswich and home wins against Fleetwood and P'boro.

However, they have also lost at home to Blackpool and drew with Gillingham. Potentially our toughest test of the season but I'm going for a repeat of last seasons 2-1 home win.

Bearing in mind I reserve the right to change my mind at least twice before the game.....1-0 to us. Team same as against Wimbledon, although I prefer Westbrooke to Shipley. Tough competitive game with few risks taken by either side, so could go either way. Hopefully we can nick it.

Somewher between 2-0 to us and 1-3 to them. Depends on my mood! Will lose my voice either way! Like to not give away an early goal this time, so the fans have chance to get into it!

wow, come on you lot.

We've won every home game so far. Scored 9 goals and only conceded 3.

Donny have managed 2 draws away from home. And only scored 1 goal.

I agree it's a tough game but we have to be positive of 3 points here!
Sod that! I don't like nail biting endings to games

Play our free flowing football, don’t concede early and cruise to win 3-0.
More likely nervy opening go behind to soft goal and then battle to get back into game. Score on 60mins. Can’t find winner:1-1

Doncaster are a bit of a bogey team but looking forward to the game and both play football.

2-1 win. Godden and Biamou (but only if Biamou comes on earlier than the last game, otherwise 1-1)

This suggests Doncaster have had the toughest start in L1, but I was surprised to see that they have played 6 of their 8 games at home. So apart from when they got a creditable 0-0 draw at Ipswich, their only other away game was a 1-1 draw at Rochdale who are currently 17th.
Difficult to form an opinion on their away form based on that.
So an overall goal difference of +4 with 11 scored in total doesn't look particularly impressive.
I was thinking a 2-2 draw, but now erring towards a close win for us
