Don't really care now that his contract with us has expired. He's a free agent, where ever he ends up now is his own business. Would be different if he was under contract but he isn't so time to move on.

When he said he wasn’t staying I was pissed off that he’s run his contract down and denied the club a fee but could understand that he wanted to test himself in the Championship.

Frankly if he stays in this league he can get fucked.

He might not have the choice? Clearly has had contact with championship teams but if a contract hasn't materialised he has to play somewhere.

Why? He'll be on a higher wage and probably a nice signing on fee.

He doesn't owe us anything.

What's he supposed to do, turn it down because some of our fans hate Sunderland.

I liked him whilst he was here but we have to trust in the process. I have every confidence Kyle McFadzean, Hyam and Rose will be fine.

At least when we play Sunderland we'll have a good knowledge of the limitations of one of their center backs. Basically put big Wesley, Kastaneer and any other big fucker on him for corners.

Tarnishes his reputation for me if he goes there. If he couldn’t find a championship club then he could’ve signed a new contract with us. Sunderland is a sideways move, where he’ll be slaughtered by the fans for any mistake he makes if things aren’t going their way. This move could be seriously detrimental to his career in my opinion.

Would he even get in the team here now?

I wouldn’t gloat, just go and look at Burge’s performance.
Willis thought he was good enough for the championship, but looks like the championship disagreed.
Our squad is looking better than last seasons, I can’t say the same for yours.

I’d be delighted with this signing.

Was your best player in the 1-1 draw against us in my opinion.

Will be a good signing for you.

Fingers crossed you sell mclaughlin and make Burge your number 1 though, any signing you make will be irrelevant as your guaranteed to drop 20 points with him in goal.

People saying he wouldn’t get in our team, based on what? We don’t know much about Rose and McFadzean could end up being another Ogogo or Brown. I’m not writing any of the new signings off, but I’ll be reserving judgement until the first few games.

Very injury prone footballer that has missed the start of pre season, he should really be getting a move to the championship though

Burge is only backup anyway.

Will be funny seeing more Sunderland fans at St. Andrews than Cov.

Be even funnier when you miss out on promotion again. Ground breaking all these free signings you’re making.

SuNdErLand Are MaSsive hahahahaha
