More rain! Hope this doesn’t ruin the tournament. Enjoyed the India v Aussie game on sunday
Rain forecast for tomorrow and Thursday too.

England's Friday game against the Windies should be okay apparently.

Shouldn't they expect rain in England of all places?
Why doesn't the schedule allow time for cancelled games to be played on a later date?
Awarding a point to both sides where one side was expected to win hardly seems fair.

How can they apply the rules any other way?

There’s only been one other World Cup where 2 games have been washed out in the whole tournament

5 of the 12 have and oddly it rains a lot in India and the West Indies as well

The format of this tournament makes it impossible for extra days. I’ve attended one of the rained off games so of course it’s frustrating but with this format that’s all you can do

If it was group games with more minnows it could be done but other than 92 and the year the year had the super 8s this is a huge competition compared to others

i think this is why its in the format it is, it provides a buffer for inevitable rain delays. Sadly it also can put a false picture on the outcomes as there was some inevitable results which were draws. Not sure what else they can do to be honest.

The Aussies at cricket are like the Germans at football.
They always seem to find a way to win.

hope the rain clears up. Thought today's game could be a key indicator of who's really in form and in with a chance.

Just seen one the most horrendous LBW umpiring decision ever I think.

Women's international, England v West Indies.

Ball bowled quite wide and the WI player chopped the ball onto her pads. Clearly. Clear as day.

Umpire gave LBW and the WI player just stood there in total and utter astonishment.

Terrible decision and impossible for the ball to have hit the pad first anyway. It was clearly chopped back onto the pad from wide.

Indian fans are complaining that the ECB ensured all English fixtures didn’t have rain delays! We can manage the friggin weather now!
Now that IS what I call a long range weather forecast.

The fixtures came out on the 26th April.

Aussies smashing Sri Lanka today! Put a bet on them to win at the start and looking good. Would say Aussie v India final but still hopeful we can pull something out of the bag and no dodgy performances like the one against Pakistan

I'm just glad to see someone else is watching Women's cricket.

Indians very strong again today! Two vital games for England this week against Afghan and Sri Lanka and need 2 wins, get Morgan and Roy fit before we face the Aussies and Indians the week after!

England and India are the best teams by a distance with New Zealand and Australia next in line - I cannot see how these 4 are not in the semis

Difference is England have a habit of losing silly games like Pakistan, India just look a different level

I think it was a freak result to be fair

I’m preying we bat first tomorrow as I’m going - also going to the New Zealand South Africa game the following day - 5 games in 2 weeks!
