It's as if they don't just bullshit about CCFC matches.

The Arena statement is a joke, right?

People who’ve never been to a stadium concert probably.

4 times more people than you’d get at the nec arena for example, therefore shit getting out of car parks. I once waited an hour and a half getting out of there once.

And in terms of location then on that logic the nec is in the wrong place too then, and that’s next to an A road and a busy motorway.

Always people moaning because they don’t know what to expect.

Shock horror massive queues for ladies loos at a concert where 80% of crowd are women....
Having worked in the industry this would not be acceptable at other venues.

Yes it is shit getting out of the Ricoh car parks but that's because they aren't managed properly and there is no dispersal plan. Its a free for all.

People will expect queues, they won't expect unmanaged queues for hours.

The size of the crowd, the demographic of the crowd and their arrival time were all easily predictable. If the venue for some reason can't cope then the events shouldn't be staged there.

And it is in no way acceptable to just open the doors and let people in with no ticket or security checks. That is asking for trouble and they are lucky the reports today aren't about something more serious.

I find this a bit odd. I had no issues with the Rolling Stones concert last year. There was an orderly queue to get in which took about 20 to 30 mins bit that's was about it.

If anyone fancies a free night of misery, i'd recommend getting a gang of your mates together and go up the Ricoh about 7pm, and cause a crush which means they open the gates and let everyone in, ticket or not!

PS This is a joke, and not intended to incite criminal or unsafe activities!

Would guess a combination of money saving by Wasps and the difference in the crowd demographic.

If you look at the shows that have had the most trouble there. The MTV event, Rhianna, Spice Girls and Outbreak (where someone died of a drugs overdose) they are all a very different demographic to the Stones audience.

The employment of the stewards, parking, would be up to the tour management (Wasps don't employ the people that we see every other week-end manning the car parks and doors), it had probably nothing to do with Wasps who would have been paid a flat fee to let them use the stadium.. after that its up to the Spice Girls tour manager to organise everything.

That post from the Wasps forum is possibly the most deluded thing I've read about this whole shambles. As if the Spice Girls management team are sorting out car parking and operating the turnstiles!

If that's the way Wasps negotiate their contracts, no wonder they're taking so long with ours!!
"You, the Spice Girls, will be responsible for all aspects of staffing the venue, including but not limited to: parking, security, turnstile operators, ticket collections and pitch re-laying".
Surprised they didn't have Ginger serving the pies too!

The general lack of ability to write the English language is terrible. The amount of shit that you see like too instead of to, awe ful or orfall on social media is astonishing.

What is happening with the education system in this country?
I don't think there is one!

Arena Coventry Limited, actually!

Just read the Companies House file on ACL. The list of former officers made a shiver run down my spine!

If you pick through the wasps PR and find genuine tweets there's some shocking stuff coming out. People who had seats finding the same seat had been sold multiple times. People who had paid hundreds (idiots!) to be in the golden circle closest to the stage denied entry as it was at capacity.

In any other venue you'd be looking at people getting the sack for this sort of shambles. Wasps response seems to be its nothing to do with us.

Load of softies. As any concert goer of a certain age will testify, when you go to concerts you take the rough with the smooth.Queuing up for a drink is expected as is queuing for the toilets, although at Rock gigs the nearest hedge is sufficient. Rain pelting down on a summers day is guaranteed, and getting soaked in beer being lobbed about too.
Getting covered in mud and lost in the crowd is a must, if not it must be a crap concert. Then again it's the Ricoh what do they expect !

Do they guarantee you a golden shower if you're in the golden circle?
(Sorry)

I couldn't believe it when i heard they were paying £200 a ticket!

I was fuming, didn't even get to collect the DNA from their spit because they mimed everything and that was the only reason I paid that much.
