The Ricoh.. (2 Viewers)

What are the odds that people featured in "comments" and "reaction" don't really bother going to games anyway?

I hope they do all fuck off to Cov Utd to be honest, if there ever is a Phoenix Club after CCFC have been pushed out I hope every game gets abandoned and they go bust leaving the people who started it bankrupt and living on the streets.

I'll never stop supporting this team, this is my club like it is all of us! That playoff final win was special and I am sure it felt even more special after everything us fans have had to go through.

Things on the pitch appear to be the best they have been for a long time, that season under Mowbray was reliant on a lot of loans, it seems Robin's is building a team a group of players we can call our own and I can't turn my back on that. I pray and hope we stay at the ricoh, but this is the only Coventry team I can truly support!

It's up there with that weird bloke who claims to be from Australia telling everybody to support Cov Utd instead and NOPM.

Strange how Johnson is the one who keeps strangely pushing the Phoenix Club stuff and is an ex director of Cov Utd.

Ha ha is that Sydney aka Ginetta

Just been told by a work colleague who's mate works at City that we are going to play at the Butts next season, temporary stands with 10,000 capacity and a new pitch.

I can't see it myself.

The obvious problem with these fakes who suggest supporting a new club is that Cov Utd have been around a few years specifically for people like that so if they were at all genuine they'd have already fucked off.

Cutting it a bit fine for the Butts isn't it?

Although, would think they would have been straight on installing the 4G at the end of their season. Has it started?

Let’s be honest if we had the choice of the butts or the Ricoh every city fan would choose a ground half the size at the butts. The Ricoh has never felt like home and is 90% of the time soulless. Instead of spending millions on sharing with brum we should invest the millions on temp stands at the butts

I'll look after it for you. Or you could entrust it to James Raffell.
I would require a guarantee that no Train tix would be bought or in Jim the Boatman's case, no Ferry tix.

Can you imagine how angry Wasps and the Council would be IF (I did caps and made it bold to emphasise the if) it was the Butts.

Realistically, how long would it need to get everything setup and a pitch sorted? Accrington started their pitch re-lay pretty much the day the season ended.

I'd love to be at the Butts next season. Spon End would do well out of it too. Also plenty of hotels that I stay in to come up to Cov nearby.

Piss up in Spon End, watch CCFC, end the night in town or the 4 P's, takeaway food.... Heaven.

I wouldnt, the Ricoh was built for us, should be used by us, and if we push on next season we may be playing in the championship pretty soon, i know where i would rather them games are played.
Would be happy playing at the Butts for a season but long term we should be hoping for and thinking bigger.

A tenner spent in Spon End (aside from on drugs) would improve the economy there. Think we'd have to allow only the minimum permitted away fans thogh (not sure what that would be). Although, really can't see this happening. 5% believability for me.

Ricoh Arena row: Coventry City could be expelled in SEVEN days
The clock is now ticking for the club to confirm arrangements for where they will play next season

You could almost mistake that for a negotiation pressure tactic.

Oh it's hard to imagine and believe, IF it was to happen I'd much prefer it to the Ricoh (which I can walk to in 20 minutes).

'IF' should be in bold, so don't believe you. FACT. END OF.*

I would take 10,000 at the Butts over any groundshare anywhere for sure.

Staying in the city would be a massive boost to the fans and the city itself.

Surely that has to make a lot more sense then playing out of the city. I'm still hoping for a reconciliation but I'm not holding my breath.

Apparently you can construct temporary stands without planning permission, though I can't find anything definitive on it.

I have seen it mentioned where they can only be there so many days a year so they have to come down for a couple of days before they go back up. Just what I have read though.

Imagine Duggins and Eastwood's faces if they get a call confirming it's the Butts.

what is the lawful reason that council have for blocking association football at butts?

They didn't have one, they tried to because they were pissed off because Jon Sharpe told them there wasn't a groundshare on the cards and then he submitted a proposal to them which included a ground share with us.

When Solihull moles knew they were gonna be in the play offs they got told they had to add seats (with roofing) to their stadium and they done it in like two weeks. albeit it looked like Bristol rovers shit new stand they bragged about this season but it was knocked up quick
