prefer politicians to stick to their principles if they have firm beliefs- whatever hue they maybe. hard to respect or trust politicians that won't stick to their guns. if you're genuinely firm leave or remain then stick with it.
if you're running scared because you look like losing at last minute how can you be trusted on the next important issue that comes along. Even more scary some of this group could still be in line to take over from May if she steps down, hardly inspiring that next person negotiating with EU is one that is known to back down at last minute.

I'm sick of hearing their opinion on it tbh. Rees Mogg is a backbench nobody, the media think he and Boris are twee British eccentrics rather than a pair of entitled wankers.

I'm minded to say let's call the whole thing off and re-consider what it is that we really want.

We're going to either end up with some thing unpopular (May's deal) or rushed so yes, but delay needed.

Shame we didn't think about the detail before hurtling onward, really.

This isn't necessarily right.

Nobody knows what is going on. But most seem to know what is going on. Just like last week when nearly everyone knew it was either May deal or no deal. Not enough consideration is given to what those that have the power to decide wants. This same consideration doesn't make headline news. But as soon as the rags or news outlets say something it becomes the next thing that must happen.

My take on it hasn't changed. The EU has always angled towards us being able to remain. If we don't remain they want us to have close ties. This includes FOM continuing and our payments not changing. This will keep us included in the free movement of goods. Delays will only happen if we come out with something totally different than what is happening now. Hardly anyone wants what is happening now.

Most are looking for a solution that keeps us in the EU before the negotiations finally start. To me this is why there is never a majority for anything. And I can't see a majority happening for anything. We have another clock to run down. At least this one isn't another couple of years.

Seen more people on a Botham walk than the Leave march :)

It’s reminiscent of the part in forest gump when he decides to run across America and people start following him even though they don’t really understand his motives for running.

I am not a smart man Jenny but I know what I voted for. One day I just felt like walking.

Farage is a twat
Watched the Hungary vs Croatia at a friend's house on Sunday night. He happens to be a senior Govt advisor who's usually in Brussels for these summits.
They "love" Farage just because he upsets so many other Euro MPs. Bit of context Hungarian Govt party just been suspended from EPP for running a huge PR campaign against Junker and immigration and a general clampdown on many of the democratic processes in Hungary. There is little free press or TV in Hungary anymore. Courts packed with political appointees etc. Wide spread corruption in allocation of EU funds.
Hungarian Govt very keen for UK to remain as they see us as an important block to France and Germany.

puts MPs expenses into a different perspective

Or even MEP’s and EU bureaucrats wages and expenses into perspective. This is the cost of doing what was a shared cost with 27 other nations on your own. When you consider that this is just the cost of setting up for one trading partner post brexit all of a sudden that £360M isn’t looking too bad a value for money.

Not really, the cost of employing MEPs and commissioners is pretty much borne by the net contributors to the pot.

I see she promised to go before the next phase begins if they back her deal and Rees-Mogg is squirming over what he’s said in the past.

Anyone still for leave? At what point do you see that Brexit is undeliverable. It is impossible to build a consensus. The main players have lied, cheated and now Mogg and Johnson are going to vote for a deal that they both described as worse than remain. All the crap from Mogg about GATT 24 and the Irish Border has now been put to bed. The lies about trade deals being the easiest in history have been exposed. ROW immigration has more than replaced EU migrants. Investment has fallen, the UK has lost influence and become laughing stock. Farage continues to embarrass us all in the EU Parliament. The EU is setting the agenda. Which puts the „we are holding all the cards“ crap also to bed. 6 million signatures and 1 million marchers puts Farage’s argument about opinion hardening towards the EU also to bed. His pub crawl „Brexit Betrayal“ is a flop. 29 March won’t be anything like the March, and the petition won’t reach anything like 6 million ( even if they use bots ). The Tories, and the ERG are crumbling. A pity labour don’t have a leader who would put Brexit to death. The centre is a massive free field at the moment. A moderate labour leader could take the country. ( although I agree that Corbyn’s policies could reach a lot of people if it wasn’t Corbyn ).

Was it worth the billions, the extra civil servants, the cancellation of investment, the extra border staff, the loss of jobs, the loss of agencies, loss of Galileo, our parliament being unable to take care of the country‘s problems because of Brexit debates etc..? In the end, remain is still a better deal than BRINO.

We don't. They're backward fuck wits who'll be as extint as the dinosaurs in a few decades, which is ironic seen as they don't believe they existed.
Think it's dawning on them that they've been fucked over by certain elements of the Tory party, tough shit.
Just waiting for Corbyn to ask the IRA for their support so he can form a Government!!!
