Wasps action (2 Viewers)

Perhaps staying the obvious but it needs to be professional.

Talks for example of going to wasps games and invading the pitch our frankly embarassing....we don't want Wasps to be make out they are victim in anyway.

As I said it should be completely legal. Invading the pitch will get us nowhere.

You wouldn't get a total boycott, probably wouldn't even get much but... there'll definitely be some who support both CCFC and go to Wasps games. If they stop going to Wasps games, it could well have an effect on their finances sufficient to cause concern, given they're trying to embed themselves (it's a very different scenario to when we went to Sixfields, where cash through the door was pretty irrelevant).

So... worth doing.

But not before a spot of noise ;)

I'm not sure about demanding people don't go. There are ways to do it without saying that.

Like you say though, just start it with something like Liquid Gold says.

Genuine question CJ.

You have started the thread, will you actually reply to the suggestions or take them on board?

I really hope it isn't another thing put out just so you can say you have asked?

This should also be discussed maybe on other threads with action against SISU and the council constructively.

You asked me to do it.

Oh, so you are only doing it because I made a point?

Are people just wasting their time suggesting things again then?

Ask them why they won't take the moral high ground and preserve a 135 year old football club for the good of it's fans, even if it's only another one year contract while legals continue. They will have the blood of the club on their hands and they have the power to prevent it.

How about a different approach ....

Instead of alienating wasps and their fan base, try calling on their support. Flyers before the next game urging them to get behind us with lyrics to a couple of our songs to be sung at a particular minute urging their owners not to kill us. If they don't comply we need a back up but give them the opportunity as sports fans united first.

Thing is they are properly st holders so have already paid.

Just like those on Facebook asking people to stay away form the last City games why when we have already paid.

I've never been no. I realise they don't but some probably largely unaware of our situation and disrupting games before the decision won't wins many friends. Why can't we take a decent approach and they may actually appreciate it. Even the owners might sit up and realise what harm they're doing rather than viewing us as oikball scumbags.

I've been posting on this forum for a limited time but why do you have to argue or try and stir on argument on EVERY thread. Must be tiresome for the regular posters to see

I've been on it for a while and I can see things a mile off.

I was asking if CJ genuinely is interested in ideas or not. I'm not saying that for no reason.

And that’s why Tim fucking loves you.
I think you need to close the internet. You seem to get angry at me pointing things out.

Its a bit weird.

It was a genuine question, im hoping CJ will say of course things will be taken on board.

Wasps will talk about a deal if SISU drop the legal action against them. They’ve said this all along.
Why should they show weakness and say “oh alright then you can carry on despite you wanting to sue the ass off us all the time”
Why should only one side have a bargain in the negotiation? Are you really a CCFC fan?

Only person who seems angry is you because someone did what you asked. Now that is weird.

100% agree with this.
I'm sure we all agree that wasps rocking up in town is a total farce but we would all hold the same opinion if we were in their shoes. If I was to rent a house and then put in a personal claim against my landlord would he be happy to have me as a tenant for the sake of the rent we pay I really wouldn't blame them if they do stick to their guns only one person or party to blame here and that's sisu. Especially if we began to cause trouble and disrupt their own games whether or not its peaceful it will probably end up with being told to leave the venue as on private land etc

Stupid, simplistic analogies like "if I was a landlord" do my head in.
What if you were the landlord to somebody who lived in the house since it was built for them?

Ay? I was asking if he genuinely has any interest in the thoughts or just doing it because I made a point.

I'm sure he can answer for himself.

Not angry in the slightest.

How about next season's games?
I still think that everyone going to a Coventry rugby game instead when city are away is better.
Get all city fans up there make them the bigger team in this City would hurt wasps more
Imagine the butts full for a few games they are more affiliated to our fanbase.

Also if you were a tenant would you sign any document that said under no circumstances would you sue them

It’s oathetic

Hurt them more than condemning them?

Wouldn't that take the piss a bit? People going to support crfc as a protest against wasps?

From the eyes of cov rugby I mean.

I’ve been taking about this open letter campaign for about a month now. It’s obviously not going to happen but hey ho. Still, anything against them needs to start immediately. If they have another home game without action it’s a travesty.

Hardly stupid . . I am a new poster on this forum and the overall experience is one of why I was only a reader for many years. Why is the need to have to result to insults its ridiculous.

I understand a debate but to jump straight in with insults big man are you.

Anyways to cover your point CCFC had the same opportunity and our owners chose their path and hence why were in this situation.
The deals never not been thre the fact is that it came with clauses and sisu have not stuck to them and are trying to spin that they are being evicted . . Fair enough we are but its self inflicted and we wont move forward till they are gone.
If I was the landlord I would want what's best in the interest of my business and that would be to not have court case after court case and costs mounting up when I don't need them.

Why would it, extra support/ money in the coffers, Jon Sharp has always been clear on who’s this City’s rugby club, be great to see another few hundred on the gate next weekend backing Cov.

You do know how obvious you are, don't you?

Its one of the reasons the trust need to start applying pressure.
