Basically the same as every other game in the last few weeks. Lots of possession and knocking the ball around but no real threat.

So, how long until Rochdale score after half time? It's obviously going to happen isn't it?

Balti pies at Rochdale are fucking superb.
Downside is I don't think I'll manage one of those rag pudding jobs on the way home

Have to hold on for the first 10 minutes, can see them coming out and hitting Andrew with diagonal balls to head across for Henderson to tap in.

He's really not doing much at all. If he is number 10 he's been nowhere near, the same as every time anybody else plays there.

Wonder if he will replace him with Chaplin or if it will be Chaplin for Bakayoko?
Flatters to deceive. Give him 10 decisions and he’ll make the wrong one 8 out of 10.

Instead of bringing Chaplin on in the same position. Stick him up front with Bakayoko.

Up front as in up front and not just in front of Kelly and Bayliss.

Madness I know.

That's a bit too adventurous for us, Nick.

Yet another frustrating half where the opposition should’ve been put to the sword. Rochdale are there for the taking and it’s no surprise to see them down at the bottom. Again we’ve been dominant without peppering shots at the keeper, but someone needs to get on the end of these crosses. Build up play up until the final third has again been encouraging but it’ll soon turn into frustration if we don’t put this to bed.

Defensively we look pretty sound and it certainly makes a difference having a GK of that quality between the sticks, even if it is for one game only.

Sadly, Bakayoko is a waste of space. I want him to come good but I just can’t see it. That header that he missed from 6 yards was unforgivable. Add to the ever growing blooper reel.

Come on boys step it up!!!

Think we keep persisting with this format and system that does not produce enough opportunity to score. Add in the wasted chances and regardless of dominance we have not troubled their keeper.
Think also we look like some confidence is ebbing away from our players with a lack of decision making and the intent on following the tactics blindly without any spontanious play. That's a spark we are missing. Someone needs to stand tall and grab each game by the scruff of the neck and bring in our clearly talented players to fruition. We just don't have a player like that.
Perhaps Meyler will somewhat provide that...

Rochdale to come out in the second half all over us and Robins to try to hold on to the 0-0 by taking off a striker.
How is our new goalie playing?

3 pages to get through for the 1st half.

It all can't be moaning :)

Anyone been worried by Stockdale yet?
Thought not. Amazing how a bit of calmness and positioning does wonders. The only downside to his game is that our forwards aren’t used to the ball down the middle.

Hasnt really been tested so not done anything amazing or done anything wrong.

Kicking is straight at least.

Hiwula off for Shipley is a potential change too that will happen.

Mason usually gets tired.
